Beautiful log cabin. The photo with the front porch is actually the back side of the property and the sliding door is what faces the road. There are thick woods in the backyard that block any mountain views you would have from back there. There is also no direct access to the creek/river nearby. The only mountain view you have is from the upstairs bedroom and its over top of the neighbors home. The house was well stocked and the hottub was very clean, just super small (4 adults can barely fit). The property is only about 5 minutes from downtown and 20 from the parking lot at Red Lodge Mountain.
Came out west to enjoy skiing at Red Lodge. This cabin met most of our needs and many of our wants. It is exactly as it is pictured. We felt safe, cozy, and accommodated. Star gazing is next level.
Nice place with good space. Main downfalls were that we couldnât get through the back gate to unlock the door so we had to walk around the fence, through knee deep snow, to get to the door and get inside. Also the snow was blown in decently already before we got there and it wasnât cleared once during our 4 day stay.
If you want to live out of a suitcase, itâs perfect. There is no access to the closet in the main bedroom- which is not mentioned in the description of the property.
The neighbor right next to you is very courteous and respectful when youâre outside.
The TV did not work the entire time. The response time from the owner is extremely poor.
The hot tub is the best part. It is a nice home, well stocked
Beautiful cabin, Lovely decor & very comfortable. Everything you might need is there. Very well maintained. Couldn't ask for anything more. Would have loved to stay longer. Thanks for sharing your home.
We enjoyed our stay here at off the beaten path- we loved the seclusion and privacy we were provided and being able to bring our furry friends with! Hanging out in the hot tub at night with the cool mountain temps and watching the wildlife were the highlights of this spot! We came out to get married and couldnât have asked for a simpler, relaxing and memorable vacation! We just wish we we were closer to the river!
We loved our stay at this cabin. It was a couple miles out of Red Lodge which was great to get away from all the crowds in Red Lodge. It was nice and quiet and the cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We saw deer every day in the yard. We would definitely stay here again.
The home had everything we needed and was in pristine condition. We absolutely loved the hot tub in the mornings and after long days of hiking in the area.
Will definitely come back again another time!
Our "Vacation" (think Chevy Chase) involved 7 nights here as a launch point for our travels. It was wonderful. The town of Red Lodge, MT was great and had great shops and eating places. We happened to be there the weekend of the Beartooth Motorcycle Rally! Everyone was so nice, even the cop that stopped us. (lol) We will come back in a heartbeat to explore more of Red Lodge area. After 4 nail biting trips over the beautiful Beartooth Scenic Highway (10,947 ft at Beartooth Pass), we chose a few times to drive to Cody, Wy instead to enter Yellowstone. We spread out days of travel and days of chilling out at the house. The teens loved the hot tub. We loved the back deck. Very clean. Thank you!
