The host was outstanding allowed us to check out a little later due to a family emergency. The house was incredible we saw moose and deer. Enjoyed the hot tub and had a great family visit. Fall colors were amazing. The house could use a little touch up here and there but the views out the back more than made up for it. Everything functioned well. Very comfortable bed. Hot tub in great shape and clean. We had breakfast and dinner at the house and explored during the day. Jake was super responsive.Awesome Trip!Thanks

Clean, nicely laid out floor plan. All bedrooms on the basement walk out to the back yard/hot-tub. Comfortably slept 8 adults. Also 1 pull-out couch. No air conditioning and the main floor was quite warm in the afternoon. Mountain breezes made it comfortable to sit outside during this time. Hosts were quick to reply to messages and were very accommodating. We highly recommend this home to others.

There were five of us old folks staying and it was superb. The view was outstanding, we spent many, many minutes just absorbing it. And we had to watch a football game on Saturday (Go Griz!), the TV room was perfect. And I wish there were more stars to rate the communication from the hosts. Unbelievably great! We certainly hope tobe back.

Please avoid this property like the plague. The photos are no where near what it looks like, the house was deemed unsafe to stay in after bees infested the hot tub, and bedrooms. The deck is falling apart, the view from the living room is awful due to the window tint pealing off, the furniture is worn falling apart,and the windows leak when it rains. The home is dated, and the communication between the property manager and host is nearly impossible. Horrible experience.

Great location with Excellent views

This was a great location. Almost exactly half ways between the ski area and the town of Red Lodge. This made for easy trips to get food/groceries and to get to the mountain slopes! Listing is very accurate and the house had plenty of space for the 10 of us (6 adults 4 kids 10 and under. Would highly recommend and would stay again in the future. Also of note, we got almost 2 feet of snow over 2 of the days we were there and the driveway was cleaned by a cleaning crew before we were awake to head up to ski. Kudo’s to the owners for making sure that was a priority.

Let’s start with the low notes so we can end on the high
 There were definitely things that weren’t ideal. If you have little ones with you, the master is the only bathtub and the baseboard heater in there doesn’t work, luckily there was a space heater in the closet we moved into the bathroom. Also worth noting, ALL of the bedrooms are downstairs and everyone from a toddler to a grandma all sound like a 400lb grown man stomping around, so if you’re a light sleeper, best of luck to you, you’ll need it. We had to buy our own toilet paper because we ran out about 2 hours into our 5 day stay. There was no deadbolt and minimal locks, so I didn’t feel super secure. There were missing screens on the bedroom doors and the tint on the windows upstairs is extremely warped taking away from the view
 on note of the view, let’s move to the high notes. The view and location are absolutely amazing! Literally at the base of the mountain and overlooking the rest. There was ample space and furniture as well as use of the garage if needed. They had a spotting scope there for us to use which was great for searching for critters not eh mountain. Overall, compared to other homes we have rented in Red Lodge, I would rate the stay a 6.5/10, the biggest issue honestly was the lack of sleep I got with how noisy people walking above you are.

Location is great. Hot tub was amazing. House is cute and comfortable. Not a great kitchen for cooking for a large family. Coffee maker has the wrong carafe and we had to rig it to work. No paper towels or dishwasher soap provided. Not enough silverware for us to all use for a meal, we had to re-use plastic silverware until we could go to the store.

Elk Mountain Lodge Fall Vacation

We had a great time staying here! Great space to spread out, cook meals, and relax in the hot tub! The hot tub was a must every night with the stars and the relaxing nature surrounding the hills! House was perfect for us 5 adults and we would stay again. Spent a day shopping the cute downtown and then returning to the house for game night, dinner, and hot tub! Not entirely too close to Yellowstone National Park but drive was doable- longer drive day. Nice views from the house tho! Would recommend!

Lovely Home

The property was very nice and clean. We had a group of 3 couples and each had our own room. We didn't spend tons of time at the property but the views were incredible. I feel that the listing does make it appear to be quite remote but the home is located on a street with several other homes. We didn't encounter any disturbances from the neighbors though and there was a small creek/river out back which provided wonderful ambiance. It does have a grill and large hot tub which was nice. Host was nice and informative, check-in process was easy. There is a lot to do in Red Lodge and we were able to bike from the property into town so everything is quite close by. Overall good experience and wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

We had an easy check and everything was great until my husband got electrocuted when going to bed. We reached out to the company and didn’t hear anything for 4 days and then nothing for another 3 days. We were given the run around and finally got a call from the owner who was amazing. He was upset with how the manager was doing things and seemed sincerely concerned. Other than that issue everything was wonderful with our stay. The house was great and the town and surroundings were breath taking.

Second stay at this property and one again delivered. Great location to get up to RLM, hot tub is one of the best we’ve had at a property, great views and the infinity table was a great addition for the kids to play on.

Thanksgiving weekend in the mountains

Everything was as described. The space worked great for our family gathering. Rooms and beds were cozy and spacious. The hot tub was amazing. Beautiful view from the living room/ dining room space. Great night sky views from the patio and hot tub. Had a new table top game system that was super fun for the whole family. The house was just outside of Red Lodge city limits, so it was very convenient to go into town for shopping and dining options. Jake and Vicki were great hosts. We had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay including extra blankets, pillows and towels.

Amazing views

Everything was perfect. Lots of books was great for kids and adults. Love that the bedrooms all had doors to the patio. Saw deer and moose in the backyard. Windows windows windows !!! Loved it hottub was great couldn't figure out how to make the waterfall part come on.
