This cabin was quaint and had everything in it we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with pans, skillets, muffin tin, baking sheets, crockpot, etc. There wasn't anything we wished we had. This is a pet friendly cabin. The only downside is that there is mostly rock and gravel around the cabins and parking lots. Most of the time we took our dogs across the highway to use the bathrooom to find some grass.
The cabin was perfect for the 4 of us. It had everything we needed to stay. So clean and it was very close to everything we wanted to go to. My husband loved the river in front and got some trout. I will stay here again.
We stayed here two years ago. I did not expect the new updates, which are beautiful! Everything we needed to cook was available. There were plenty of nice fluffy towels and blankets. Nothing was lacking!
Very clean. Loved access to river for fishing. Cooked outside a lot. Please fix light above kitchen sink that is out. And also inside of coffee pot is disgusting. Throw it away and buy a new one. Other than that, everything was great.
Check in and check out are simple and overall, the property was decent and clean but somewhat run down. Property description talks about recent upgrades but I didn't notice any. There are areas where the owners need to make repairs. The bench furniture on the upstairs patio is broken; the cushions on the chairs on the front porch need to be replaced. There were 2 blue lawn chairs in the upstairs closet that we tried to use so all of us had a decent patio seat but one was broken. The magnetic close screen door on the master bedroom does not work properly at the bottom so it does not keep bugs out. The front door needs a screen door so that it can be left open to help with ventilation. Ceiling fan in other upstairs bedroom does not generate much air circulation. It was very cool the days we stayed in Red River which made the lack of ventilation tolerable but had it been hotter by a few degrees, we would have been miserable. If you tend to be hot natured and are staying in the summer, bring fans. They will also help with noise of busy highway at the back, neighbors, and trash collectors. Also, we had difficulty with the Hopper TV situation. Some instructions would have been helpful.
The view from front porch was amazing. Stepped outside to a flowing river with friendly ducks and a view of a beautiful mountainside. We were fortunate to see snow fall one morning and it couldnât have gotten any better than that. Comfortable stay in a cute cabin that had all we needed. Nice walk to town. What a great place to stay!
