I booked this room as my son is a patient at Stanford Children’s and we were in town for a procedure. I was traveling alone with my two children. Upon arrival I noticed the area seemed a bit sketchy. Pulling into the parking lot (At night) my heart sank. It was a small hotel, but the first thing I saw was several men standing around in the parking lot. I checked in and we started to unload the car and head to our room. The men were also staying at the hotel not just randoms loitering. However, I couldn’t help but feel unsafe as these men just walked a woman and her 2 kids walk into their room alone. The room itself was clean and decent. I work remotely and traveling with my laptop and an additional screen so a desk is a must. This room had a desk area but absolutely not a single available outlet to plug my computer in. This was also a big issue. The only place was on the nightstand and that wouldn’t work. I was very uncomfortable and couldn’t bring myself to unpack yet. I kept thinking there was no way I would be able to sleep and we were there for 3 nights. Ad I was contemplating leaving (and losing over $500) the people upstairs started making noise. It sounded like 50 people jumping up and down. It sounded like they were coming through the ceiling. I made the decision to move to another hotel, further from the hospital but somewhere we were familiar with and felt safe.

One room the toilet was broken and when we reported that to front desk, the staff was cooperating and immediately changed the room. One bed was ok but another one had some weird smell that bothered us a lot. Overall it was ok experience. Could have been better if we had clean bed (without smell) and better breakfast options.

Room was clean. Very spacious and pretty comfortable. The shower head when the water came out smelled like sewage. I don’t know what that was all about but it was weird. Other than that it was a good deal

My two most important items for booking a room are clean and safe. This is an older motel but each room is so clean. The beds are very comfortable too. The neighborhood is safe and close to Stanford Medical. The staff is also really nice. The breakfast they prepare in the morning is perfect for travelers.

I liked the friendliness and competence of the staff. I liked the excellent coffee maker in the breakfast area; it was available 24/7 and I had many a decaf latte during my stay. I liked the cleanliness of the room, the number of outlets near the bed for my CPAP and chargers, and the comfort of the bed. I wasn't thrilled with the absence of an elevator. My room was directly under the outdoor staircase, and I woke up every time someone bump-bump-bumped their luggage up or down the staircase. The presence of a supermercado across the street and a 24-hour Jack in the Box are of course out of the control of the property, but did give a dingy feel to the area.

Clean, comfortable and friendly.

The breakfast was very healthy with quite a few choices. The people at the front desk were helpful, courteous and added to our stay. We were here for medical to go to Stanford. I really appreciate how clean and fresh the rooms were. We will be back.
