After check-in I had to have someone fix my thermostat, the plug in next to my bed for charging my phone didn't work. I was woken up several times by the tenants upstairs even though I use a white noise machine and ear plugs. The front desk sent up security and that seemed to help at least from 11:46pm and 5:23am. The noise in this room was unlike anything I've experienced before. Staff were lovely.

Maintenance is an big issue as is the electrical power supply in the room. The C-Pap machine needed for a serious medical condition worked until the air conditioner cycled on ( about 10 minutes tops) and then it did not work for the rest of the night. Totally unacceptable. The C-Pap has worked in over 40 countries around the world including many 3rd world countries as well as a different hotel chain in Regina. Three nights without it was very scary for someone who medically relies on it. A toilet that leaked for all 3 days despite being "fixed" was a sad reflection on just how much management cares about guests and maintenance. The hotel needs a plumber to regularly take care of plumbing issues. When we were checking out and explaining again about the toilet another guest piped up and said that she should mention that the handle on her toilet did not work. Why aren't the cleaning staff reporting these issues? All the staff were very pleasant and trying their best to be helpful, but they obviously are working under constraints. This hotel has many attributes going for it, but not reliable power supply and reliable maintenance.

We stayed with 5 people and our dogs. We had the two room suite which was great for our group! It was quiet and the breakfast options were good. I wish there were a bigger walking area for our dogs, but I understand the area the hotel is in probably didn't have much options. We were able to find a small area of grass that was adequate!

The room had a strong musty smell, and some parts of the bedroom were dirty—not a big deal or impossible to deal with. There was a stained towel and a pillowcase with marks on it as well. Overall, the hotel was okay, but a bit neglected, with areas that clearly haven’t been well maintained. The parking lot is small. For a Holiday Inn & Suites, it was definitely below the quality they usually offer elsewhere.

Was looking forward to Hot Tub which was being replaced. This should be noted at time of booking. Also the air conditioner was making a terrible noise which woke us up constantly.

The jacuzzi amenity was under repair for more than three days, and the hotel management didn't make any kind gestures as a compensation for the guests. The breakfast options were so limited and not fresh at all.
