Unclean Unit and Poor CommunicationUnit appears to be a converted 2 car garage Checked in on 7/19, There were over a dozen ant traps throughout the kitchen and living area, visible tufts of dog hair, and a heavily stained chair. Parking, which was advertised as âon-site for one vehicle,â turned out to be a permit for street parking several blocks away.Despite these red flags, we tried to continue our stay. However, things worsened when we returned from dinner to find active ant infestations. Later that night, we discovered multiple hairs of various types on every bed and odd white stains on furniture and pillows, making us question the overall cleanliness of the unit.We contacted the 24-hour service line and were told clean sheets could be broughtâat 1 a.m. This was not acceptable with two small children, so we left for a hotel. The local mgr followed up the next day (but only after I threatened to leave a negative review) and apologized, the offer to move us to a new unit came too late, and we were assured a refund, we ended up getting 150 cleaning fee reimbursed.To be clear, this wasnât about a single issue. The unit had numerous signs of poor cleanliness and inadequate preparation:âąDog hair and visible stainsâąAnt traps and live ants on countersâąHairs in every bedâąMysterious white stains on the couch and kitchen chairsâąMisleading parking informationThe mgmt company took our money and didnât care about timely resolution. No more Vacasa for us!
