Overall stay was good, but the day of our arrival was very frustrating. This host uses a third-party app to give you your check-in guide, door code, etc and the technology does not work well. You have to scan your drivers license front and back, plus your full face, and it took 40 minutes for this to work. It also wanted you to pay the pet fee (again), etc. which we already did in VRBO. The app was just clunky. We then drove 7 hours to get there and when we arrived the apartment door code wouldnât work. We could not get a response from the host for 2 hours. We finally left to stay for the night somewhere else when we finally heard back. We are VRBO hosts ourselves and feel that being availableâespecially on check in dayâis essential. After this, our stay was fine. The apartment was nice. The people upstairs were loud, but this is not the hostâs fault, just apartment living. Other than the first terrible day and bad technology, we would recommend staying again.
