Great location. Parking instructions were very clear. Parking in zone 2 was close and easy. Shades for the midnight sun could have been a bit better but that didn’t bother us much.

Right in the center of everything the city has to offer, this spacious apartment is quiet and well-appointed. Check-in was simple and straightforward, and all around us there were restaurants and cafes to sample. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back soon.

Best possible location for restaurants, tour pickups, shopping. Two full flights of stairs for the apartment we had. Creaky, noisy wood floors up and below, but hey, it's an older building, charming , crawl home from dinner and drinks. And a great kitchen and shower. Would book it again and sleep through the heavy footsteps

Stayed for 3 nights on stopover coming home from Italy. Would have loved to stay longer. Only thing that could have made it better was an included parking space-but walked a few blocks to the garage! Would love to return!!!!

This was my first time using vrbo. The property owner/manager was very kind in “hand-holding” me through the whole process and was quick to respond to my questions. Check-in process was easy. The property was centrally located close to Hallgrimakirka and Braud, and made walking Reykjavík so easy. Property was clean, well-equipped, nicely adorned. Close to bus stops, restaurants, shops, etc. If I was to go back to Iceland, I would certainly stay here again.

Perfect Appt in Perfect Location

This 2 bedroom appt was exactly what our family needed in a perfect location in downtown. The size of the appt is very comfortable with 2 separate bedrooms plus a living room, bathroom and kitchen. The communication from the property managers was fantastic and the check-in and check out process was very convenient with it all being contactless and using digital door codes. We’d definitely stay here again.

Great Location

Great location! This was located very close to everything. Easy walk to restaurants, cafes, Opera House, etc. Communication with the owner was always quick, even late when we had difficulty entering the door code to the unit which was fickel most of the time. But the owner was always available for a call to change the codes and to help me enter the unit.

Family Trip

We visited Iceland in July, and used the apartment as a home base. We were 5 adults, there was plenty of space. The location was terrific- within walking distance to the main cathedral, shops, restaurants and bus stops. We had trouble with the key codes-on the first day- but the rental agent solved the problem in less than 30 minutes. We were very pleased with the rental and will look to stay here again on mount next trip to Iceland.

Fabulous place and location

This place was perfect on the pedestrian street! A fabulous and convenient location We did not eat in the place but the kitchen seemed well stocked. Bring earplugs if church bells bother you while sleeping. Also they don’t provide many hand towels or any wash clothes. Just some minor information to be aware. Would absolutely stay again

Great apartment in a great location.

The apartment was as pictured, clean, comfortable and well stocked. It is in the heart of city center with restaurants, bars, attractions and shopping within easy walking distance. We loved our stay here and are very happy with choose this apartment for our four nights in Reykjavík. Note this is a third-floor walkup which may not work for those with limited mobility. Also read up on parking in the city before arrival so that you are prepared. We had no issues parking once we understood how the parking system worked.

toxic mold

This unit was a beautiful apartment, wonderfully sited. However, the bathroom is filled with toxic mold, the scent of which hits you upon entry into the unit. The cleaners returned to clean the bathroom; however, could not address the issue as the shower unit needs to be pulled out and replaced. The manager switched us to a beautiful 1 bedroom apartment two doors away and refuses to refund us for the price difference, despite published pricing during that same period on VRBO.

Perfect on Laugavegur

Reviews like this are embarrassingly easy—PERFECT! If pressed for more,... ABSOLUTELY perfect! What to say about a simply gorgeous, bright, airy, spacious apartment in the bustling pedestrian center of Reykjavik. It was perfectly and conveniently situated with immediate access to shops, restaurants, coffee houses, and bars. We did a lot of tours and it was so easy to walk to the designated pickup point (Bus Stop #6). We were about to park our car a few blocks away (in front of a fun public pool) at no cost (which was great!). Everything ran smoothly with our stay (two adults and two teens) and everything we needed was either in-the-ready or efficiently and clearly communicated. If you're looking for a charming, comfortable, homey, third floor home as a launch pad to Reykjavik and Iceland in general, you can do no better than Laugavegur. Again, it's easy to review,... PERFECT!

Reykjavik autumn holiday

The property has an excellent location this is where the pedestrian mall starts. Parking is a pick tricky look it up online, there is a phone app that you can use, very helpful. Apartment was spacious but only 1 towel per person for 8 days? No microwave, no toaster. Code to enter apartment didnt work, couldnt reach the owners, back up caretaker was reluctant to come and let us in. Went to leave and we asked for a key to get back in as the code didnt work, gave us a ring of keys and rushed away. Weird. No instructions as to what to do with the garbage or recyclables. Overall communication poor.
