We had a very good experience overall at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was incredible! The staff were great—helpful & friendly. The bedroom & bathroom were small/compact in comparison to our experiences when traveling in other countries. Our only complaint was when we grabbed a “clean” hand towel, someone’s false eyelashes were attached! The front desk remedied this & provided a total set of new towels & wash clothes. But how this had slipped past the housekeeping staff was disconcerting.

Windows filthy, access to balcony via shower. Balcony in photo, was actually your neighbors! -very weird/embarrassing moment. Lighting in main room area completely inadequate. 1 ceiling light in corner and two dim bedside lamps. Breakfast was great.

This hotel was in a perfect location—right in the heart of downtown, which made it super convenient for exploring the area on foot. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The only downside was the parking situation—spots were extremely limited, which made it a bit tricky if you’re driving. Otherwise, a great place to stay!

Great hotel to explore Reykjavík

Great stay at this property. Staff welcoming and friendly, happy to help with any queries, they kindly arranged early check in for us. We were also able to secure a parking space. Room was very clean and in good condition. Breakfast buffet had lots of choice. Great location to explore Reykjavík. Only downside for this property for us was that you could hear other guests in other rooms. Other than that, would highly recommend this property!

This location was superb. You could walk to any restaurant you could imagine. The breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever had. I wish they had more parking, but the parking garage is across the street. The staff was very friendly. Very clean everywhere.

Great location - convenient to shopping, restaurants, bars, and all the tours had a stop within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms were fine - clean and efficient, a little on the small side but still roomy enough for two people with luggage. Breakfast was a highlight - a great way to start the day. Everyone we interacted with on the staff was wonderful - helpful and accommodating.

Great location and great hotel

Great location, great breakfast and great staff - free parking - would definitely stay here again. We had one issue with oat milk and certain bread not being available and they sorted it the next day and were very helpful.

Mostly positive experience

Good location, friendly staff, good buffet breakfast. Comfortable bed and good shower. Two negatives for us - the first is that the hotel is on a busy street right next to a bus stop. Very handy for day trip pick ups but very noisy! Lots of chatter from excited travellers, particularly when being dropped off after northen lights trips! Second is the floor to ceiling windows, that overlook the main road/pedestrian precinct, that dont have any net/voile curtains. We were on 2nd floor so felt everyone could see straight in when walking down the road towards the hotel, we spent most of our time with the very effective blackout curtains closed! There are times that net curtains have a place! The negatives are minor but the street noise is worth bearing in mind if you're a light sleeper. Overall we had a good stay
