#The rooms are very basic with the sink outside the bathroom and bathroom is quite dated. There were few groups and the hotel was super busy

Really nice hotel! Clean and had everything we needed! Extra points because there’s free breakfast and an awesome bakery attached. A little bit out of the way from the Reykjavik city center but we liked that! Everything is easily walkable. Would stay there again!

This hotel is amazing!!! I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone anytime. The free breakfast was AMAZING!!! Me being a gold member of Expedia gave me 2 free drinks. The free SPA is an amazing experience DO NOT SKIP IT!!!! please please take advantage of the beautiful spa experience to relax and unwind after your busy day in Reykjavik!!!! Staff and premises are just beautiful. Beds and rooms are comfy.

Excellent, supportive staff.. cheerful & friendly. Although our room was on the top floor, there wasn’t much of a view. Bar & breakfast were efficient with plenty of choice. Room was clean although there wasn’t much storage space for our clothes. You had to come out of the toilet to wash your hands, with the sink in the hallway. Lighting wasn’t adequate.

Everything was great other than our rental car was missing a front license plate, so we couldn't park in any of the garages. This made parking more difficult for us, but has nothing to do with the hotel.

I had a one night stay at Grandi. It was a short but excellent experience. The cafe on the first floor is great for a small breakfast. The staff at the lobby were very welcoming and incredibly efficient. I would definitely come back my next time in Reyjavik!

This is a lovely hotel near the harbour. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. My room was clean amd had a lovely view to the mountains and harbour. We had a balcony which was an added bonus. The only niggle I had was from noisy neighbours (nothing filthy). I did request my room to be cleaned but it never happened during my 3 night stay. The hotels restaurant was amazing. The food was delicious. I recommend the lamb if its still on the menu. If you fancy eating out, the steakhouse near the harbour is fantastic. Parking at the hotel is limited and you may have to park along the side streets. I didn't use the spa facilities but I heard they were lovely. If you're looking for a hotel near the harbour, 15 minutes from the centre, delicious food and clean rooms then this is the place to stay.

10 to 15 minute walk from downtown. Easy to get parking. Super clean, friendly staff and the Spa is a really great amenity to have. Would stay here again.

Everything was great except they did not tell us that room servicing is not done unless you ask for it and as we were not told this on arrival we came home after a long day, the day after our arrival to find the beds unmade and wet towels on the floor. Poor communication by reception !!!

Very tired hotel for a place rated 4 stars and so expensive. Furniture and carpet was circa 1970 patio furniture. Room lights were dim especially in bathroom and walls painted green which made it darker. Everything seemed on the cheap such as facial and toilet tissue which was the thinest I have ever seen. Maybe it’s good because the plumbing is old. Breakfast was fair but employees didn’t care and fruits were old and the breads were just thrown on the platter and didn’t look appealing. Crumbs were never wiped away. I can’t recommend this hotel.

The hotel is amazing! Very clean with a great location. Staff are very accommodating and friendly! Even though they don’t have onsite parking, free parking was available at the harbour around the corner (less than 5 min walk) Morning breakfast was included with an incredible spread! I would stay here again and highly recommend if visiting Reykjavík!!

My experience here was amazing. The staff was beyond lovely and super kind. They made my birthday stay very special. The spa was a nice space with 2 heated hot pool options, sauna, and resting space. The only thing to be aware of is there is on going construction so bring ear plugs just in case for days you plan to sleep in a little. It wasn’t a huge problem for me since I was out of the room before construction started each day except for one in which my ear plugs were a necessity. Overall my experience was 10/10.

Cute hotel but no onsite parking

Staff and the hotel itself were very nice. Cute microbakery attached for breakfast. Parking was a challenge as there is no onsite parking and you have to find your own on busy streets. To be honest, I thought it would be closer to the city center based off its name. It really isn’t. If being in the middle of the city doesn’t bother you, try this place out.
