Room size was great & balcony was a nice touch. Bathroom was a little on the smaller side. Breakfast and lunch options were good- we mainly ate out in old town in the evening as the buffet wasn't our scene. Buffet & pool did get particularly busy, seemed to be a lot of children.

Lovely staff who offered great service. It was a well-kept resort and beach, with a fantastic selection of food and drinks. They had a great range of entertainment (something for everyone), and the bar areas were well ran and services. The spa area was really relaxing, with great amenities - we had great massages there! The a la carte restaurants were brilliant, and we also enjoyed our a la carte breakfast upgrade (it was a very peaceful way to start the day). We would definitely come back.

Beautiful hotel and facilities but poor service - long queues, no pool service, room cleaning was late in the day (was often between 4-5pm), the corridors to the rooms were dark and damp smelling - lacked 5 star service imo. Very family friendly which it is advertised as and so many amazing facilities for children but definitely very busy due to the size of the hotel - would’ve preferred adult only in this instance

The hotel was very modern, aesthetically pleasing and spacious. Check in was nice and easy and the swim up pool room was great - just note if you don’t plan to go for the sea view option, your pool might be in the shade for most the day! There were a LOT of small children and families, however there was the option to stay in the adult only hotel in the complex (but of course, more expensive!) It’s a shame there wasn’t a section in the main hotel for adults during the day time - the pool nearest to the beach would be perfect for this as there were beds in the pool etc, but instead was full of babies and young children. We chose to sit on the beach throughout our visit as the main pool was VERY crowded. However getting sunbeds was no issue whatsoever. The buffet was brilliant both at morning and dinner and the staff were great, especially Jane! We booked the Italian and Latin America restaurant towards the end of the holiday to leave it on a high - these both were a massive disappointment and I would refuse to pay for the meals if I had been half board! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and I was very satisfied with everything. The food was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from each day. Our room was clean, and housekeeping did a great job, cleaning daily and keeping the minibar well-stocked. The beach and pools were absolutely fantastic – perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun. I want to give a special thanks to Joanna from the Philippines, who served us many times at the restaurant. She was truly the kindest and most attentive person I've ever met. Her warm and friendly attitude made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, Joanna! Highly recommended – I would definitely come back.

This our 2nd visit to Helea and it was great, as a family with young kids looking for a one-stop-shop this resort checks all the boxes - full board, beach, pools, water park, kids club, cinema, nightly family activities and shows and more. The resort functioned impeccably (except for some minor hiccups with the the main restaurant during rush hour and with the room cleaners), the kids had tons of fun and their parents too!

We’d definitely recommend it for families. The hotel was really clean, Everyone was so friendly and great with our little boy. There were loads of food options, and we loved being able to grab snacks all day from the beach bar and street food hub. The pools were great, and the whole place had a really nice vibe and aesthetic. The only small issue was needing to be up early for sunbeds, but that’s to be expected during the summer holidays. Overall, a brilliant stay and we’d happily go back

The property itself is lovely, very clean, bright and well maintained. The negatives are the A la carte restaurants and the sunbed shenanigans. The a la cartes are very difficult (if not impossible for some of them) to get into and once you do the food and service was disappointing. The sun beds are ridiculous! Most have towels by 6.30 in the morning and although signs are around saying no holding beds this is in no way inforced.
