Located in a small development of detached villas, with panoramic sea views of the Atlantic Ocean, set in a stunning location with mountain back drop on the beautiful island of Santo Antao.

Accessed via a rough steep mountain road and located on a popular hiking trail this setting is ideal for those interested in hiking, bird watching or who want to enjoy some time in a tranquil location.

The villa is furnished to a good standard.

A quiet, but not isolated location from which to relax and enjoy the views from the large open plan lounge / dining area or step outside onto the balcony. Or better still, why not enjoy a cool drink on the roof terrace?

Aluguers regularly run past the village at the beginning and end of the working day as workers are transported to/from Lombo Branco. Alternatively, there are plenty of local private taxis that can be hired.

Sitting on one of the largest 2-bed villa plots, this villa has private gardens with lush vegetation including banana and papaya trees so please help yourself to the fresh fruit when it is in season.

Our guests have free access to a shared pool in the village. Alternatively, we can provide access to a private pool subject to availability and a local charge of 10 EUR per day. Please let us know at the time of booking if this is something of interest.

Our local Rental Management Agents can arrange taxis to/from the port, trips to local restaurants, ferry tickets, as well as half day / full-day scenic and hiking tours.

"From the beginning Luke & Heather gave as a lot of useful informations about Lombo Branco, the surroundings, the villa and basically everything we needed to know in order for us to have a relaxing stay. Hetty, the villa manager and Paul (or "Fruta" as he is being called) the gardener, were very helpful and always reachable if we needed something. Paul speaks only Portuguese, but we managed to comprehend each other very well in a mix of French and Spanish. Very nice and pleasant guy that will answer all questions or contact Hetty if something should be unclear. For our arrival and departure Hetty organized the Aluguer, which was very practical for us. We can also highly recommend paying her a visit at her restaurant "Casa Maracuja" in Paúl, approx. 1 to 1 1/2 hours walking distance from Lombo Branco. The meals are very well prepared, the staff very friendly and the walking trip unforgettable. The whole landscapes, walking and hiking paths in Lombo Branco and the neighboring villages Sinagoga and Ribeira Grande are all magnificent and definitely worth of discovering. The villa itself is exactly as depicted in the photos: very clean, very cozy, very quiet; can hardly find something to criticize. The internet speed is the way it is on the whole island, not the fastest but very stable. Not far away from the villa there is a small supermarket, where one can find a basic selection of food, groceries and household needs. The next ATM you'll find is in Ribeira Grande or Paúl; so make sure to have enough escudos for shopping and the Aluguer rides. All in all we are very thankful to Luke & Heather, Hetty and Paul for the wonderful experience that we had in Lombo Branco. We felt very welcomed and taken cared off so will definitely come a second and third time to Santo Antão!"

"The house is spacious, with a nice balcony overlooking the gardens and ocean. The location is remote and halfway up a mountain. In the morning you will wake up to the sound of birds. The walk/hike to the top of this mountain (1 hr) will take you through sleepy settlements and amazing views. This is a nice hike to warm up the legs. A black sandy beach with waves breaking on the rocks is a short hike away. When the waves are high it is quite dramatic. Other hikes are possible, but you will need to arrange transport If you are looking for a place to let go of stress and wind down, this is it."
