Very nice place in the middle of Carytown. Walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning rocked. It was in the upper 90s outside and the apartment stayed wonderfully cool.

Location location location! 3 minute walk to Cary Street restaurants and shops. The apartment was charming and scrupulously clean. The mattresses, pillows and bedding were heavenly. Communication with the hostess was ideal. Hope to stay here again!

Spring Break stop in Richmond

We decided to have a quick stop in Richmond on our Spring Break travels and found comfortable lodging in this historic and well preserved listing. The amenities were as described, though we didn’t partake in the laundry that was located in the e basement. We had a short block and a half walk to the main historic strip, several great eateries and sweet shops for dessert. The next day was spent exploring the nearby science museum, which was only a 7 minute drive.

Lovely space

Cannot beat the location - so close to Cary St. with all the shops and eateries! Larger than we expected, comfortable and clean. Nicely appointed kitchen. Spacious bathroom. Bonus - super short walk to grocery and drug store. Great “home base” for a visit to Richmond.

Stay in Richmond

The property itself is wonderful and was perfectly located. It is well appointed. My only problem (which was huge) was that upon arrival the city of Richmond was completely without water and therefore the rental had no functioning toilet, shower or kitchen. I asked but was never offered even a partial refund for this enormous inconvenience. I had to travel 40 miles outside of the city just to buy 10 gallons of water just to flush the toilet. If there had not been a water problem I would have given this property 5 stars.

Our Men’s group had a retreat and this site was perfect for us. Many of us are from Capitol Hill in DC and felt right at home in Carytown.

Above and beyond

Very impressed with everything about this property. Five stars, will be staying again. Loved that it’s dog friendly and the fenced in yard was perfect. The hosts surpassed our expectations by providing toiletries as well as a bottle of wine, bottled water and snacks. Walking around Cary town was such fun and we were in the perfect location to not need to drive hardly at all.
