On cooler days, the fireplace provides cozy warmth. Here you can enjoy breakfast with a view of the surroundings before setting off on an excursion into the beautiful countryside.
Enjoy the surroundings and experience a world of hiking trails, mountain bike trails, fishing and swimming opportunities and explore the nature reserves in the area. You can also drive to Lillehammer and Mesnali. Hunderfossen Adventure Park, Lilleputthammer Family Park and Maihaugen Open Air Museum are ideal for families with children.
With excellent snow conditions, a varied network of groomed trails and a 6-month ski season, Sjusjøen is a dream for cross-country skiing enthusiasts! Here you will find 350 kilometers of fantastic cross-country trails in gentle nature. The cottage is centrally located in relation to the trail network. Sjusjøen also has a ski center for downhill skiing enthusiasts.
