We had a great stay for one night. The view of Rio from the hotel is amazing! The breakfast was definitely one of the better we has in hotels in Brasil, but sadly there were no vegan alternative options eg. for milk, butter etc. Definitely a great recommendation if you stay is Niteroi.

Ei turistirysä

Hieno hotelli ja hyvä valinta mikäli ei halua turistirysää Cobacabanan varrelta. Ei ehkä rantalomalaisen valinta, koska lahden vesistö oli likaista. Mutta aivan parhaat maisemat katolla olevalta uima-altaalta, sekä huoneen parvekkeelta. Hotellin henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja palvelevaa. Osasivat englantia tarpeeksi hyvin. Pienet epäkohdat korjattiin nopeasti kun niistä ilmoitti. Hotellin palvelut olivat kohtuuhintaisia, joten pesulaa yms pystyi hyvin käyttämään. Ruoka oli hyvää. Aamupalapöydän tarjoiluja olisi voinut vähän laajentaa, mutta ihan toimiva oli tuokin. Wifistä annoin minimit, koska mun Nokialainen älypuhelin ei onnistunut yhdistymään heidän verkkoonsa - yhteyden nopeutta valittaessa valikko ei auennut. Rion keskustaan pääsi halvalla käyttämällä hotellilta 15 min kävelymatkan päässä olevaa lauttaa. 5 realia / matka. Sieltä pääsikin taksilla edullisesti mihin halusi. Hotellin respalta auttoivat myös kuljetuksien järjestämisessä. Lentokentältä taksia otettaessa kannattaa ottaa huomioon, että kuski ei välttämättä tiedä missä hotelli on. Ja myös mustan taksin hintataso on 130-150 realia / matka. Keltaiset taitaa olla halvempia. Mutta tuo kannattaa pitää mielessä jos sopii eri kyydistä. Mulle tarjosi taksiautoilija kyytiä 220 realilla. Niterói sopii jos haluaa nähdä paikallista elämää, rauhallisempaa menoa, eikä niin välitä rannalla makoilusta. Sekin onnistuu siellä, mutta uiminen kannattaa ehkä jättää altaalle.
