Room had tv that didn’t work plug didn’t work and bad AC unit The next room had tv that didn’t work and AC in front room didn’t work Third room had working tv but ac didn’t work. Finally just gave up and slept without tv that I use to help me sleep. Disappointed and sleepless.

Never Again

Remember when Motel 6 was the pit of a hotel chain? Well Best Western, particularly this one, is a dump and in a dumpy area. Less than a block down the street there were a few homeless. The motel is dirty, run down and scary. There was a loud party going on. Large empty boxes in front of our room; a worn down couch in the room; the toilet is for toddlers…too low to the ground; the bed….is comfortable but the bottom is a metal case that is very noisy and the tv in the bedroom only had 5 channels.

If you plan to watch TV be sure to ask what channels are available. My room, as well as the room to which they were going to move me, did not get ABC, CBS or NBC. Maybe that is the new thing but I had specific shows that I was going to watch. The people I was visiting in Moreno Valley do not watch TV at all which was why I made arrangements to stay in a hotel rather than with them. The ladies at the front desk were very polite and agreeable but the promised "fixes" did not happen. Before taking the hotel up on the offer to move to another room so I would have the TV access I needed I insisted on seeing the room and trying the TV first. The TV didn't even work!! I am glad I did not move. My room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom sure needs upgrading. There were cracks in the tub, a very old showerhead (but it worked), and it needed a grabbar plus a non-slip mat for the tub. The breakfast was average, neither poor nor great. I did not go away hungry.
