The price and last minute booking was very convenient. But i will not pick this property again due to terrible customer service and dont live it up to their own rules for all of the policies and day shift front desk staff doesnt know how to properly explain or find solutions to help customers

I love HJ, I’ve stayed at several over past years but this one was just poor quality. Room needs work in bathroom area, needs major update. Paint chipped. Went to free breakfast at 8, which runs from 6-9 and no food! No service person around. Very disappointed since I know HJ quality is always great.

Checking in there was a party going the conference center with loud music and I couldn’t hear the desk clerk. Went to our room and the room had not been cleaned for a new guest. Had to go back to the check in desk to get a new room. After making sure we got a non-smoking room and it smelled like smoke as well and a musk smell, air was not on for a 90 degree day, dead bugs in the bathroom, hair dryer not working, and no working ice machine. Their definition for a hot breakfast was not. They did not have juice or any thing to drink and they had cold gravy and cold biscuits. There was only 4 channels to watch on the tv.

The TV didn't work. Out on entire property. The sink didn't drain. The carpet was old and worn through. The door to the room next door didn't have a lock that worked. Had to put fridge in front of it. No one working. Loud people fighting all night in parking lot and no one stopping them. Manager refused refund.

Telephone was not working and no dial tone and we had to use our cell phone to call the front desk for an additional bath towel. The front desk person promised to deliver a bath towel in the same evening but we never got it until next day morning we had to personally pick up from the front desk. The building needs painting because we noticed peeled paint everywhere

Overall stay was ok the building was in poor condition stucko on most of the building was cracked or missing. Overall, outside of the building needs a facelift, it looks a little run down. our room it's 220 the door mechanism stuck real bad. You may get in the room or not. After many attempts. The stucco in the bathroom wall was completely missing down to the drywall not to mention housekeeping, will walk right in without any announcement. Have your door locked and breakfast options were very slim.

Specifically chose this hotel because they had a pool. For some reason they still did not have it open mid-june because they hadn't got a certification for it though they show it on their website. Also advertise full breakfast with waffles. Great breakfast if you like American cheese slices still wrapped in plastic + eggo waffles. There was a smell to the room probably due to the peeling paint on the bathroom ceiling and walls. Also, the steps leading up to the room. We're broken and dangerous. The cable TV turned out to be three channels. The bed was clean but that was about the only thing that I can say.
