For starters when I walked into the lobby it smelled like marijuana. Then when I got in my room the ac unit was making a weird noise which kept me from sleeping well. Will not stay at Brentwood again.
It was definitely get what you pay for . I guess being under renovations and under new management. Guess the process didnt start yet . Fridge made noise all night with no shelves in it . Tape on light switch to see in bathroom. Towels was not clean , room was barely clean ... cleaning staff come in change garbage thats it ... people walking back n forth all night . Lots of traffic people drinking beer on steps .
When we pulled up there was a homeless lady with a shopping cart sitting on the bench and lots of guys hanging outside smoking weed. Definitely did not come across as family hotel. The surrounding felt shady. My two rooms were separated from opposite ends of hotel with one towel and half roll of toilet paper. Girl at front seat busy hanging outside with the guys. Definitely would never stay or recommend the hotel. Felt very unsafe and unclean
Good: Bright, cheerful, modern rooms and well-lit parking. Less good: hint of cigarette smell from back when you could smoke in hotels - but it didn't bother me much. I would stay here again.
The property was not the same name as the one listed in the Hotels.com site. The sign on the property says Baymont Inn. The hotel is very old, needs repainted inside every room, and the rooms are filthy. Do not stay at this property unless it's a life or death situation.
We stayed with our little pup overnight and it was convenient. The room we stayed in was not one which has been redone yet so was not very fancy, but we felt safe and the beds were comfortable, even with our bad backs.
The man at the front desk was very rude and accused me of not paying for my room when I had a receipt showing that I paid for the room online he was very rude and hostile
Checked in around 8pm. In less than 1 hour had to check out. NO FIRE ALARM, physically removed from the wall with wires sticking out I have photos (obvious fire code violation). Dresser missing an entire drawer. Human hair in the sheets. The door looked like it had been viciously attacked. Please note, we were there less than 45 minutes total. Upon calling to ask for a refund we were told thatâs not possible because they have a 15 or 30 minute rule where if you check in for 30 minutes you can no longer receive a refund. Seriously? Sounds invented. The â15-30 minutesâ were spent inspecting for bed bugs and assessing the severity of the situation. I HAVE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS FOR THE RECORD. I will never forget this horrific experience. And Expedia not only allowed this to happen, but enabled the horror by sticking to no resolution or refunding of the booking. This hotel should be shut down, Expedia should be ashamed. I tried to rectify the situation through the proper channels and it went nowhere. Never trust Expedia.
