Our stay was an absolute dream! We spent a short mini-moon here after our wedding, and it was pure paradise. It felt like we had all of Montana to ourselves - it was so peaceful and serene. The property was immaculate, and Jenny was such a wonderful host and communicator. We will truly cherish the memories of our stay here forever. Itâs such a special place.
Beautiful home and property. Everything was clean and ready to go. The views are incredible and the hot tub was wonderful!Highly recommend! Jenny was great to work with and communication was fantastic!
If youâre looking for seclusion and views, this place would be very hard to top. It felt like we had hundreds or even thousands of acres to ourselves. Architecturally, the house is exceptional. While on paper this is a one bedroom, one bathroom house, all of the spaces are grand in proportion and therefore plenty of room to spread out and luxuriate in the experience. We loved the hot tub, grilling outside, the double sided fireplace and well-equipped kitchen. We would absolutely stay here again.
The remoteness, the natural stone slabs and natural unrefined wood that created this cottage blends into the hillside. The rolling hills light up in the morning and evenings to a scene you can only imagine from a travel show. The details, my favorite, the incredible surround sound high end stereo. I enjoyed the classical selection you had. What a dream. The lights and shadows of the moon shining in at night created a European Castle look in the moons glow.
What a memory this Glass Cottage has created for us.
After driving from Asheville up through Michigan's upper peninsula we were so happy to arrive at such a peaceful place to spend a couple days and unplug from hotels etc! We were greeted with a view of the mountain range and a lovely rustic open floor plan. We made our own dinner each night and had drinks and played cards on the patio. After watching the sun set, we marveled at the starry dome and Milky Way that seemed to float above our heads. We will definitely be back!
This place is magical. Everything is well laid our and comfortable. We used the picnic tables and the hot tub and even walked a little around the property. The host is very communicative and we felt welcomed from the moment we walked in. We will be booking this place again for our anniversary. It is a true get-away.
Property was absolutely beautiful and extremely secluded from the craziness of life. We were looking for a place to get away and celebrate our engagement with our furbabies. And so very happy we choose the glass cottage! Jenny the property manager was wonderful and responded right away with any questions. The views, hot tub and furnishings were top notch and couldn't have asked for anything better. If your looking for a secluded romantic getaway, this is the place! You will not be disapointed and worth every penny!
Gorgeous house, stunning location -- for romance or isolation!
This is a unique house in a fantastic location: the mountain views (which you can take in through the floor-to-ceiling windows featured on one entire side of the house) are stunning, and change hourly and daily. The furniture is modern, yet comfortable, and perfectly decorated. Walking in felt like opening to the centerfold of "House Beautiful." Better yet, the house is well-appointed and cozy: the bed was great, the fireplace heated things up nicely, and I appreciated the array of pots, pans and condiments. Bring your old CD collection to test out the bangin' whole-house sound system!
The only small issue is privacy, in that there really isn't any inside. Though the house is isolated on a hill and we never saw nor heard another human, the interior of the house features an open ceiling throughout: no walls extend all the way up. The moment someone wakes up in the morning, everyone else kind of has to get up, too, because sound carries from the kitchen all the way back to the bedroom. And using the bathroom was interesting; my husband or I would crank up the sound system and ask the other person to sit across the room, since the toilet is separated from the couch only by a 6-inch-thick, 10-feet-high frosted glass wall). Make sure you stay here with someone you love and are comfortable with! This is NOT a good place for families or friend groups.
And be sure you have a four-wheel drive vehicle, particularly in the winter, or else you'll struggle to make it up the driveway!
Everything was lovely! All of the hostâs communications, including directions and expectations were very clear and helpful. Everything was as advertised, but the views exceeded expectations! The cabin/cottage had everything we needed, it was very clean, and it was perfect for me and my husband and dogs to get away for our Christmas weekend. We loved that it was remote but still quite close to Roberts and Red Lodge. The view of the sunset behind the Beartooths from the hot tub while sipping champagne was amazing! We watched Northern Harriers, Short eared owls (a first for us!), snow buntings, and mule deer right from the hot tub! They even had a little Christmas tree set up, which was extra special. The radiant heat stone floors and fire place made it very cozy. It was very windy but we live in the Madison Valley, which is also very windy so not a big deal for us. I can imagine itâs really beautiful in the summer too! Thank you for the perfect Christmas getaway!
The glass house was amazing. Amazing sunrise and sunset. This property is so beautiful. A great view from everywhere you stand. Had our meals on the porch. Jenny was very responsive and had great suggestions. Stock food items were supplied which helped because stores are a little far. Bring slippers if your feet get cold. Be prepared for peace and quiet. Heaven!
Incredible place to unplug and relax! Couldnt see any other houses from the deck, just a beautiful view of rolling hills with the Beartooth Mtns as a backdrop. Feels very private and remote. Saw lots of wildlife all around the cabin, including a big black bear so be aware. Jenny is a womderful host, never met in person but always assured us she's just a phone call away if we had needed. She knows the area well and makes very good recommendations (Babcock&Miles in Red Lodge is now our new favorite deli). Super friendly and accomodating and even set up a little happy birthday flower arrangement with cupcakes and champagne knowing it was my wife's birthday. Would highly recommend this cabin for a couples getaway and will definitely be back again!
