Lovely cozy home close to downtown, Mayo Clinic, restaurants and the bike path is right out the back door. Bridgetteâs home has everything you could need and more. Lovely back deck to enjoy and watch the sun set. Great communication & directions. Clean and comfortable. We can highly recommend this home for your stay in Rochester.
Love the deck overlooking the river. Loved the walking paths right out of the door. Very cozy home. Good washer and dryer set up. Could walk to Mayo in less than 30 minutes. Would definitely stay there again
We stayed in this cute little house for 7 weeks in the summertime. The property is well-maintained, very clean and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed from A/C to laundry to wi-fi. The recliner chair is very comfortable. The attic space was cozy and great for visiting guests. Neighborhood felt safe and was generally quiet. The walking paths, back deck and creek views make this place a sanctuary despite being close to downtown. Access to Mayo was quick and easy. The owners were wonderful - great communication, took care of issues/requests and worked with our needs. Would stay again.
We were very pleased with our stay at this location. It's clean and quiet and the owner was very responsive to our needs. We didn't go upstairs to see that room. The furniture was comfortable also. All in all, a good fit for our needs.I
We were very pleased with having this house to return to every day. We were here for Dr. Appointments for 1 month and this was perfect. It had everything we could have wanted or needed. We loved the trails right outside the door that can take you all over the city. Great location and very nice neighborhood.
we liked this house it was very beneficial while my wife was at surgery and recovery at mayo. host was very accommodating willing to work with us even providing a late check out to help it not be so stressful on us
We enjoyed our stay as it was clean and tidy. Close to Mayo Clinic and other amenities. The stairs leading to up bedroom are very pitched and not best suited for those with younger children. Our host was wonderful!
A really clean and well-stocked home with all essentials provided, which was awesome! It is smaller than I imagined, but once we adjusted to that we appreciated the simple sanctuary after long days at the Mayo. Quality linens, towels, flatware- these things can really make a difference!
It was further from clinics than intimated but only a short drive. I would recommend!
Great place to stay! Accessible for husbandâs temporary use of walker. A deck overlooking Bear Creek Trail provided outdoor seating and enjoyment. I canât think of a thing that is not provided - ice cream scoop to Shampoo.
Our family of 5 enjoyed this little, nicely decorated house while our daughter had lots of appointments and testing at Mayo. It is a very calming environment. We utilized the outside furniture to relax in different areas as the living room did not have enough seating for a family of 5, but it is perfect for smaller families. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home. The main bedroom has a squeaky and hard bed, but my body didn't hurt in the morning, which is a win. (It normally does when we stay in other places.) The AC was fantastic. It was a 6 minute drive to Mayo. We used the paths right outside the door to run in the mornings and take our boys on many walks in both directions, downtown and also to see the goats by the woods next to the high school. Downtown Summer Thursdays was a nice way to enjoy some treats with the 3 blocks of tents selling food, drinks, treats and other goods. Cub foods is very close, along with a Caribou Coffee and some other restaurants. The host was very helpful and empathetic when we had to adjust our stay to accommodate more tests and appointments. It was a great house to have as our base every day in a fairly quiet neighborhood.
The house was the perfect place for us to decompress after long days spent at Mayo for treatment. The house was so well equipped and comfortable. Bridget is a great host. Really a perfect experience for us. I would just suggest an umbrella or cover for the deck. It was not useable in afternoon sun.
I have been traveling to Mayo in Rochester, MN for months. Ive stayed in a few hotels in the area but wanted to try something different this time. Im so glad i did! This place couldnt have been any better, especially for less the price than most hotels around, even with "Mayo Rates". Also, the process of reserving & checking in was extremely easy and communication was fast with the host! Ill be back soon! Thank you 5ïžâŁâïžâïžâïžâïžâïž
This cute little house was the perfect place to spend several weeks for my treatment at Mayo. It has everything you could need to feel like a home away from home. The location is great as you are walking distance to Mayo. I also loved being right on the city walk and be able to get out for some exercise and fresh air. I knew for a longer stay that I would want to be able to cook for myself and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need including good sharp knives. The back porch is great to sit on to read, relax, have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Bridget was great as I was there for so long that she came a couple of times to do light housekeeping. Hoping not to have to be back again for such a long stay but if I did or knew anyone who needed a place I would strongly recommend this house.
