The staff were courteous and helpful, unfortunately their website is not up to date, I booked the handicap room for a walk in shower due to not being able to step over a tub. Unfortunately it was a tub with a small board to sit on. This was not was said on the website, nor did the picture of the room show what the bathroom actually looked like, it showed a walk in shower with a shower chair. The location of the board and grab bar made it very difficult for this to be a truly handicapped accessible shower. I was very concerned that my family member was going to slide of the board when we attempted to shower her.

Check in very slow, safe not functional, heat in bathroom broken, so much cold air coming in thru window in main room froze toiletries. Put 4 pillows against windows and set heat at 85 still didn't keep up. Much more. Suffice it to say it was a horrendous experience. I was there for surgery and was already apprehensive and this added to it.

Very clean room...very comfortable beds and I loved the bedding! The staff was kind and helpful! The breakfast was very good! I love that they had hot chocolate always available because that is my go to comfort drink after a long day at Mayo Clinic! The only problem that we encountered was that the heat was difficult to control!

I've stayed at this particular location several times over the last few years. It's always been up to par. I'm sorry to say my most recent stay found the facility in dire need of updates and repairs. Many items in my room were in poor condition - broken recliner, rusted vent cover in bathroom, cobwebs in many places through the room, no USB ports, badly worn arm rests on desk chair, stained walls, no back cover on the tv remote, rusted and broken shower caddy hanging in shower, sub-par cleanliness. I understand the pricing on this hotel is cheaper than most, but that does not negate the poor shape that the facility is falling into. Not sure that I'd stay here again.
