Friendly staff checking in and out. Bed was older and did not have a comforter/blanket and two small pillows which was fine because i travel with my own bedding. Shower pressure was excellent and hot water was plentiful. Basic low budget hotel but seemed to be clean for age. Signs of disrepair on second floor but my room was fine. Only thing that upset me was the complimentary coffee was luke warm to cold which was a morning disappointment.
The actual hotel was nice, but other hotel guests had a drunken block-party in the parking area, complete with dueling car audio systems competing for whi coukd achieve highest volume. This went on until approximately 4:30 AM. It made for little to no sleep the entire night. Other guests were frustrated, as well. It would have been nice if staff would have intervened for the sake of other hotel guests.
I stay in rochester frequently for work, but will not choose this hotel again.
I called a head to let them know I would check in late the person who answer told me it was fine when I came to check in I was put down aa a no show and they cancelled my reservation that I paid up for 2 weeks. Will not return!!
For an older building and yes cheaper Hotel I was very surprised at the ftont desk who was amazingly helpful and then to walk into the room and find it cleaner then any 5 star Hotel. Side note the đ approved the accommodation.
Check in was quick. The employee at the desk was friendly. Room was clean. The latch lock on the room door was not secure...the screws were coming out of the door. The outside of the building is run down.
Cheap stay, totally worth it! They are working hard on updating rooms, construction and a lot of workers around who are always polite. Manager Bobbie Jo and the staff have been spectacular during my extended stay while my house is being prepared. Always helpful, honest, pet friendly and easy to work with! Kudos to the Motel 6 crew!!
