Girl’s weekend

The house was fantastic and plenty of room for the 3 of us. Kitchen was well stocked with some spices and cookware. The view and location are the all stars. Deck right out to a sandy area with full view of the ocean. It was amazing! Sipping coffee in the morning sitting on an Adirondack chair with my feet in the sand and watching the waves was exactly the relaxation I was hoping for. View from living room was also spectacular. Pictures in listing don’t do it justice. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Relaxing Getaway

The house was nice just as the photos, the view was Absolutely Beautiful! Steps outside your back sliding glass doors is a relaxing deck with amazing ocean views.This location worked for us, we went hiking in Ecola Park and visited Cannon Beach. The master bed was comfy but on the soft side for our liking. The ocean sound gives a restful sleep. The management group was helpful and responsive, when we needed assistance with the front door opening.

Very clean home with beautiful views of the Pacific. Great location for exploring the coast. Plenty of room for three adults. We especially loved having coffee on the deck and watching the waves roll in. One note, there is a rock wall between the house and the beach. This made it a little challenging for me to get to the beach.

I stayed for 3 nights with my 83 year old aunt. We loved the cleanliness, super comfy beds, ocean views, and exploring the nearby towns/beaches. Please add a grab bar in the shower and replace VERY lumpy chairs and pillows in living room. Thanks!!

perfect getaway!

Just left the house from a stay we wished would never end. The house suited our family perfectly and we could NOT get enough of the view - I mean you walk in and it is a stunner! We were blessed with fabulous weather but if we had to stay inside- there were plenty of games we could have played at the table which was just right to play games or have a nice meal. Loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. Hope to return! Oh, and we loved the little community of Rockaway!

Great place

We love to visit our coast and always look for a property that has big windows facing the ocean, so we can enjoy the view no matter the weather. This house had everything our family of four needed. Well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds ( its hard to find a comfortable mattresses in the rentals so this was a very pleasant surprise). Beach access is very close, but a little back yard with sand for kids to play in was an added bonus. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Perfect location to unwind

We stayed here with a multigenerational crew. The house is perfect and exactly as pictured. We had some rainy weather, but there is nothing like a house that looks straight at the ocean, and falling asleep to the sound of waves. We brought beach toys so our kids could play outside in the sandy yard, which is safely set back from the ocean. Our only complaint is that someone’s dog (we think the neighbor’s bc it wandered over familiarly) has been pooping in the yard. I had to remove several piles so my kids could play - yuck! Other than that the place is perfect, from the cozy beds to the perfectly appointed kitchen. Appliances all worked great.

Location, location, location!

The 5-stars for this review come because of the location of this home. It is situated in the heart of Rockaway DIRECTLY on the beach. You have full view of the waves as the tides change. The beach entrance is only two houses down (2 minute walk). The beach is not overly crowded and great for a leisurely stroll. We were able to enjoy a winter storm from inside our home ... but felt like we were right on the beach! The house itself is quite small, but would be perfect for a family of four (we were a ladies group of 4). Kitchen is well stocked and the house is clean and inviting (nothing fancy, but all in fine working order). We did have a problem with the fireplace that Vacassa wasn't able to resolve immediately (but we were handy enough and motivated enough to fix it ourselves). Overall, with this house, you're paying for the view, and it is worth it!

Fantastic stay- better than the pictures in the listing! The house was perfect for 2 couples and one infant. Kitchen was well equipped, plenty of beach towels and chairs for outside, gorgeous views and a short walk into town. Would absolutely stay again.

Property was very clean, check in was easy but never found a direct link to owner to ask questions if needed. It had most but not all of the items we needed (tissues in particular during the worst allergy season). The location was lovely, loved the large deck with privacy /wind blocks & small private beach area. Master bed was a little soft but comfy.

A Well Kept Secret

Rockaway Bch is perhaps one of the best kept secrets on the west coast. My grandkids & I were in total awe of our visit because everything was so perfect…the house, the beach, the town…it was a magical trip. It was such that I had to promise that we’ll return sooner than later. Thank you to the owners for opening their home & allowing us to experience the Oregon Coast & all its splendor. If I were to make one recommendation, it would not be for the house & amenities, it would be to erect some sort of rail down the rock path to get to the beach floor. The rocks are steep & can be pretty precarious to navigate as you go up & down.
