Upon arrival, we found that the lights in the cabin were not working. Partner found the breaker box and breaker was tripped. Still no power to the lamps on the bed stands. He had to crawl under the bed to plug in.
The only heat was a plug in space heater.
The shower had mold growing, had to go into town to purchase cleaning products.
The first night a lady brought over a trash can full of construction materials and dumped into the fire pit right outside the cabin that smoldered all night and had a bad smell.
Night 3 we arrived back at 10:30 pm only to find 3 young adults in black hoodies huddled up against the neighboring cabin. The cabin had boards over the windows and is 20 feet away. We sat in the car and they scattered when they saw us.
Construction began at 7:30 am on the neighboring cabin.
There was a water hose that was left running non stop where the water drained under our cabin.
Cabin floors were sloped and uneven.
We used the washer/dryer and I’m not sure if the lint had ever been cleaned. We emptied more than 4 handfuls of lint.
I sent a communication to the manager on Wednesday before our Saturday arrival and never received a response.
The cabin had sufficient kitchen utensils, plates, cups, coffee maker, it was decorated cute and bed was comfortable.
