Ocean View is nestled perfectly, down by the water in Rocky Harbour. Its exterior is gorgeous! The interior is lovely and all we needed for the 2 nights we were there. Clean rooms and comfy beds. Crappy that breakfast isn't included in the price of stay, because for what you get, the breakfast is quite pricey. $60 after tip for breakfast for myself and my husband. Our toddler daughter just ate some of my waffles. The food was delicious though. Same with at the Ancor Pub. All in all great experience! Short drive to Lobster Head Cove, some Gros Morne walks and the visitor centre. Definitely recommend!

Couldn’t have found a better location. We booked an ocean view room and the view from our room was amazing. The restaurant was only open for breakfast during our stay, if we came a week later in the season we could have had the pleasure of the band in the pub but despite that the Anchor Pub was great for a drink and our bartender/waitress was amazing. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, she gave some great tips on where to get the best views of the area. Can’t wait to come back!

Room was freshly painted and renovated all niceand new. Staff went above and beyond to ensure we were able to watch an important NHL playoff game on tv . The upstairs restaurant serves higher end meals.

Very clean and conveniently located property. Staff was very friendly. We chose this property for the advertised dining options … separate restaurant and food service pub. These had both shut for the season two weeks previous so the marketing was faulty. The included “buffet breakfast” was a stretch to call a breakfast. Very very basic.

Our room (ground floor) patio door’s lock was broken. We had to use a long stick to lock it. Not acceptable, especially being on ground level. Also, bathroom needs updating. Mattress in bed was not comfortable as it sunk when you laid down. The lady at checkin wasn’t very welcoming. This was too bad as we stayed there 3 days prior and had no issues at all, and that’s why we went back.
