Cabin was very nice but the spiral stairs was not for us 70year olds. The gravel roads up to cabin are two way and many places cars CAN NOT pass and someone would have to back up to a spot where they could. At least all wheel drive car is needed on the steep gravel roads.
The 1.5 mile gravel road with a few steep hills were an adventure of its own, but well worth it once there! The cabin and views were perfect. Nothing better than opening the door to hear water falls to have some coffee to start the day. The directions given when we picked up the keys were spot on and helped tremendously - helped us know which side of the lake we needed to be on.I will say that the downstairs toilet is quite low and in tight quarters. All in all, we highly recommend!
It rained the whole time we were there but the view and the waterfall was breathtaking. Definitely coming back next year. Only bad thing is how small the down stairs toilet was and the washing machine had old water in it so we didnt use it. But outside of those couple things. Beautiful
My wife and I fell in love with this place the second we pulled up to it. It is pretty secluded and the waterfall was amazing! We will definitely be coming back to this cabin
Perfect place to enjoy nature, sit in peace & create some art. Breathtaking view, felt like a child again playing outside. Would love to come back! Thank god I had a Subaru haha! Definitely need a all wheel drive vehicle
This was a delightful stay. The area with the cabin is rustic. I recommend 4 wheel or all wheel drive. The views are amazing. You do get your own waterfall! The cabin was clean and appropriately furnished. It's a short drive to local attractions and great hiking. The hosts communicated well, but I recommend arriving before dark. I did not and as a result it took a little longer to find it than it should have. Great for a romantic weekend.
We had a reservation for a specific cabin. We were expecting to be able to reach the cabin in a 2wheel vehicle. We were told the roads were scraped and weâd be fine. Just in case we had a back up that they said weâd be able to get to. We could not get to either of these locations. They were prepared and had additional options available that were easily accessible. This cabin was nice but not our initial intent.
We stayed during a rainy valentines weekend. We got to watch the trickle of the water turn into a powerful spectacle of breathtaking beauty. 100% recommend to couples seeking a quiet romantic getaway. Private from the other cabins in the area. Youâll sleep like a baby with the waterfall sounds echoing through the cabin.
The hand drawn map they gave us was hard to follow and when we got lost on the mountain, they were less than helpful. The one lane road up the mountain has steep cliffs and not many places to pull over or turn around. Once we arrived the cabin was so relaxing and the waterfall was beautiful & serene. The jetted tub was very relaxing. We ate all our meals at the cabin & their cookware was very nice. The stove was old, but worked fine.
Overall, very good! We stay in many cabins as we go on hiking trips. We have never stayed at a cabin with better surrounding features and view. The cabin is a good cabin. It would be wise to spend 3 to 4 thousand dollars and buy some quality leather chairs, sofa and kitchen table/chairs. The bed was of good quality and comfortable, but the rest of the furniture was surprisingly poor.
We loved Tranquility Falls! Thankfully it rained A LOT after a very dry summer, the rain made for beautiful views and sounds to enjoy. Our favorite thing to do was sit on the porch listening to the waterfall. The electric was out our first evening, so that was a little adventure. I would suggest a battery powered lantern or a candle be provided. Thankfully we came prepared. Our only complaint is minor but would make for a 5 star review..Clean the windows and doors overlooking the waterfall. Would make all the difference in a guestâs experience. A hot tub overlooking the waterfall would also be nice. Hot water was great in the cabin. Clean those windows and weâll be back!
Pictures cant do this place justice! I could sit on the back patio and look at the surrounding cliffs for hours! I would love to come back during a good rain storm to see the waterfall and creek active! We'll definitely be back soon!
