Quirky apartment with good host in a great location

Apt is clean and well located. Really only one bedroom with two queen beds and another queen bed in the front room allowing for minimal privacy. Nice host.

Enjoyable stay in the heart of Rome

Property was in convenient location - most sites and shops are walkable from here. Beds not the most comfortable and we had a noisy neighbor the first night, but otherwise it was a pleasant stay. The check in/out process was very easy the host was responsive.

Great location near the best food in Rome.

Apartment was great for sleep and showers. No living room to sit, but dining chairs were available. They had great toiletries to share. The hosts were great.

A fabulous stay

A great place to stay - especially so near the Navona square. The apartment is clean and quiet and had everything we needed, but we were hardly there - Rome is wonderful! The owner was polite and friendly. Follow his reccomendations for restaurants. Look forward to a return trip and would definitely use the apartment again.

Very convenient and quiet

Very close to Navona square and a very quiet neighborhood. Traveling as a family it is wonderful to have a kitchen to cook in and shops nearby with everything you need (including awesome cappuccino, a bakery, and grocery stores - both small local ones and larger supermarkets). Plenty of restaurants in the area to suit us, and the kids loved that it was right next to a gelato shop! Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to other families

Great location, nothing fancy, just enough to crash at night after a long day in Rome. Only issue is the shower, leaks a ton and had to be drying/moping the floor after each use. Otherwise good place to stay.

Superior location and fast WiFi

Casa Campanella was an excellent apt within a few blocks of Navona square, Campo de fiori, Vatican, etc. The clothes washer came in handy after a few days stay and worked well. Two large bedrooms and the beds was very comfortable and provided a good nights rest. A/C was working very well. The owner is a gem and ready to answer all your questions.

No better base for the Eternal City

The apartment is clean, spacious, well equipped and comfortable. It is located in an incredible location which enabled you to explore the city on foot. The owner was incredibly helpful from the start: he organized a transfer from airport which was waiting for us. Handy supermarkets 2 minutes away. We only can say we had a wonderful stay and can't speak highly enough about the axperience.

Welcome to Rome

The owner is the perfect host and we felt as though we were extended family rather than strangers from the other side of the world. Travelling can make you feel very dislocated, but we felt very at home in this spacious apartment. I can't recommend this place and this lovely person highly enough. Thank you

Perfect location

I really like the appart that is ideally located in Rome to fell like Romans! There is little shop, restaurant, grocery store just in few steps, and the attractions are all around. The only cons are that there is no living room(the bed is in the entrance), otherwise the appart was perfect, Luigi came back soon when we need it, and the lave linge help us to bring a light luggage. I would definitly come back.

Great place with two kids in tow

Had a lovely time. Property is in the perfect location to walk to many of the main sites. Our furthest walk was to the Colosseum and that took about 20 minutes. The Vatican was about a 12 minute walk. Property has three large beds (one bed in living room and two beds in primary bedroom). Does have some stairs, to include seven steps up to get into the shower, so elderly guest be advised. I would 100% stay here again.

A lovely apartment

We spent seven fantastic days in Rome! The apartment is conveniently located near all monuments to approach them on foot. Despite being in the center, the street is quiet and you can relax without noise. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable beds with linens and towels. The owner welcomed us very well and we recommend attractions nearby (supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, etc only 2 min walk). Grazie! Returning to the city, surely repeat !!

Amazing

Our recent stay in this nice apartment was excellent. It is a great location to see many historic sites. The area was very quiet. This is right in the heart of Rome. The apartment had everything we needed. The large double beds was a real plus. The owner organized a transfer at the airport which made things much easier. We had great Wi-Fi service. The owner is very close by and available at all times. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone that would like to be so close to Navona square and many other wonderful sites.

Good location

Apartment was clean and good communication with the owner. He allowed us to check in an hour early and store our luggage in the stairwell of the apartment while we toured. It is listed as a 2 bedroom but is actually a one bedroom with 2 beds and a bed in the room when yiu walk in the door so that leaves no sitting room and the guests in the bedroom have to pass by the other bed to use the bathroom. Can be loud at night when guests come in late.

Apartment was definetly NOT as described here.

It was supposed to have AC but it was only in one room. It was supposed to have wifi but only in one spot. There was supposed to be 2 bedrooms but they turned the living room into a bedroom so it was difficult and no privacy. We paid upfront so had no recourse. Location was great.

Location, location,location!

This apartment is centrally located in the neighborhood of Piazza Navona, short walk to Campo de Fiori, Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and right across the river from the Vatican. We walked everywhere from our apartment and felt extremely safe. Great Shopping, tons of fabulous Resturants, and the best homemade gelato are all within footsteps of the apartment. The surrounding area is very quiet. The apartment is clean, quaint, comfortable, and perfect for a family of 4 or 2 couples. It is a great value for the fabulous area. Would definitely chose this again. Be aware that there are some stairs to climb to reach the apartments and Wifi is available in the kitchen only. Wifi is available everywhere in the immediate outside area however. Can't wait to go back!!!

Comfortable and perfectly placed

We loved the location of this property and the amenities it included. We had everything we needed for our family of 5. The process to check in was simple, and we were withing walking distance to just about all the things we wanted ot see and do in the city. I'd highly recommend this property. The only advice I'd give future customers is to use earplugs at night. The floors are thin, so we could hear the loud foot steps and thuds from dropped items by the people above us. There is also an external stairway that can be very noisy during earyl morning and late night hours. Ear plugs would help. Otherwise, we truly loved everything about the property.
