Wonderful apartment in a nicer area of town, close to public transportation (buses and Metro). The apartment is furnished with everything you need from its kitchen with a full sized refrigerator to its newly renovated bathroom with spacious luxurious shower, and a separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed. It has a washing machine as an extra bonus. But yet the best part is the host, Gabriele, who does his absolute best to make your stay as wonderful as possible. He offered suggestions on restaurants and the best place to watch the sunset while having drinks or a meal... just up the street. The host is excellent at communicating, answering texts promptly, greeting you upon check-in, and being available to answer any questions. The apartment is on the 1st Floor, one floor up from the ground floor (what Americans call the 2nd floor) with easy to climb wide steps and an elevator for lugging all that heavy, over-packed luggage we Americans tend to travel with up one floor to the apartment. It's in a quiet area of town, not as touristy as other areas...more real shops and less souvenir shops. Easy walk to the Spanish Steps and other main attractions. We both tossed coins in the Trevi Fountain which means we're guaranteed a return trip to Rome. And if available, we would like to stay here again!
