A technician had visited to inspect the boiler due to the lack of hot water in the upstairs bathrooms. Only two bathrooms on the lower floor had hot water, while the upstairs bathrooms do not. We were a group of 18 people staying in the cabin, and this situation was not reasonable or acceptable. It was not feasible for such a large group to share only two bathrooms with hot water. This situation was NOT resolved. Furthermore, upon arrival, the cabin was extremely cold. In our experience with other rentals, the property is usually preheated several hours before check-in. This added to the overall discomfort and concern regarding the condition of the property. We were paying for a house that is expected to have all basic services fully functional. Under the current circumstances, the conditions do not meet reasonable expectations. There were three coffee makers available in the cabin, and regrettably, none of them were working. While these may seem like small details, they do impact the overall comfort of our stay. Some of the amenities appear to be quite old and seem to require more attention, care, and maintenance than they currently receive. I would like to mention that the dryer does not seem to be drying properly. I understand this may be related to the gas being shut off due to the gas leak identified by the technician. Clean? we found bathroom with balls of hair not being removed and trash hidden in many places. The conditions did not fully align with what was offered.
