The room, layout, and price were great. The older facility could use a touch up. It doesn't take a lot of work to just touch up paint and fill areas that the molding Has Come away from the wall, etc. That would make a huge difference.One light bulb didn't work and another lamp didn't work at all. Again they seem like small things but all added up does make a difference. Overall very acceptable. I would stay again. The Mexican tile detail looks really nice.

Normally I don’t even leave reviews, but our stay here was so terrible so I thought others should know. The entire reason we booked this hotel, was because it had a pool and hot tub, the hot tub wasn’t working and the pool was freezing. Lots of sketchy characters around the property, also it’s a motel, not a hotel. The door key was half broken and wouldn’t let us into our own room half the time. We had the get the front of house staff to open our door on multiple occasions. Breakfast was pretty subpar, and seating is cramped. Also The lights in the room are blinding iredescent bulbs, felt more like a hospital than a bedroom. Would not return, also Sacramento is gross.

Stayed at this hotel for Aftershock festival and it’s been my favorite to stay at so far. Room was very clean, spacious and beds were comfy. Loved the amenities and the breakfast was delicious. Very easy and quick to walk to discovery park. The gas station is easy to get to and there’s a Mexican restaurant on property. I hope I can book here again for next time.

Trouble neighborhood

There are a lot of homeless roaming the area. At midnight my car alarm went off. Believed someone tried to open the door. There was a security guard at night, but he arrived after the alarm timed out. Couldn't get much rest for the rest of the night.

Everything was fine the first day! The next morning the maid just asked me if I needed towels and offered me a couple of them, thinking that she would come back to make the bed later! I went out to San Francisco and when I returned to my room my bed was not made. I don't know if it's a hotel rule, but the maid simply thought I didn't want service! And the key to open the door was deactivated several times

The property is right off I5, paralleling it, is sketchy (homelessness, drug use, loitering, etc., in plain sight). The building is old and excessive, disruptive noise from outside as well as upstairs (if you're in a ground floor room) makes anything approximating sleep all but impossible. I worried about my vehicle being broken into all night. Definitely would not recommend staying here and will not so so again.
