This would have been a decent stay but the host decided he wanted me to pay for a dent in the wall that I’m not 100% was caused from my stay being that there was a Huge hole in the back wall upon my check in that I immediately reported! One that he didn’t feel the need to get patched for 200.00 but a small dent in the dinning wall he’s claiming was placed there by me he immediately wanted fixed for the same 200.00 that he claims was the of cost repair for a dent. I was willing to work with him as I didn’t take any before photos out side of the hole in the wall and he claims he didn’t have any before photos of the property so the dent in the front wall remains a mystery as to if it were originally there before my stay along with the huge hole that was definitely there before my stay and during. Which he didn’t feel the need to fix it at all prior to my stay nor after. His concern was the dent that he’s saying was caused by me and as a person who is problem solution based I offered to pay 100.00 out of pocket to fix the dent that I’m still not sure was caused from my stay. He demanded that I pay the full 200.00 for a dent and that he wasn’t concerned about the huge hole that had been in his wall. From there I involved Verbo to help resolve the matter and before Verbo could review the case etc Sway decided to use my cc that was on file and charge the 200.00 without my permission which is theft. I never agreed that I caused any damage to his property. Be aware of this host!
The Huge Hole in the wall that was reported and not taken care of. Now this may have cost $200.00 -and host wasn’t willing to pay for it. But a dent he fraudulently charged my card to repair both walls!
The after photo of the small dent in the wall taken upon check out. Not sure if it was there prior or from my stay. No photo proof. Tiny dent 200.00 to patch, really?? Scam!

Great time

We were in town for a convention. Sway was awesome and accommodated us even though we were a larger family. She communicated well and left the extra items we would need to be comfortable. The home was in a great location and check in was a breeze. She is an excellent host who has put a lot of thought into the convenience for her guests.

Nice Stay

This wound up being a pretty good spot to stay for my family while we were in town for an event at the Memorial Auditorium. Pros: - Good amount of space- Nice Shower/Tub- Backyard Playground- Memory foam mattresses are actually reasonably comfy for side-sleepers. - Check out procedure more like a hotel than a typical vacation rental [i.e. "lock the door when you leave"]Cons:- Less windows than you think - front bedroom has lots, and every other room has a small one. - Upstairs tenants were doing elephant impressions until about midnight. Other Notes:- This unit was very cold when we arrived (55F), was supplied with 4 space heaters, which heated the space to about 75 in about 8 hours - once up to temperature, unit was very comfortable. Normally, California weather isn't this cold, so I'd expect this to be a non-factor most of the time. Verdict: This place would be ideal if it there was better weather and no upstairs tenants. That said, we'd still stay here again and hope for less stompy neighbors next time. Thanks for hosting!

Relaxing getaway

Coworkers and I attended a conference in Sacramento. We drove into Sacramento from Bakersfield, some from Salinas and found ourselves in this relaxing rental. As soon as you enter, the decor of the home makes you feel relaxed. The bedrooms are very spacious and the beds were comfortable. We found some time and enjoyed the games provided and relax a bit. We enjoyed it and would definitely stay here again.

Cute place in a perfect location

We went down to Sacramento for a concert and Sway’s place was perfectly located close to restaurants and very close to Golden one center. He had snacks and cute little gifts for us when we arrived and was super communicative the whole time. The place is cozy and updated and just truly perfect for our short stay in Sacramento.

Certainly not “insta-worthy”

I wouldn’t consider one neon sign on a wall with fake brick wallpaper to be insta-worthy. This house is very very average and is way oversold in the listing. You can really really hear the people upstairs so be prepared for that. The neighborhood doesn’t seem great but it’s not terrible. Wouldn’t want to walk around after dark. For the most part were happy with the cleanliness. The kitchen didn’t have many pots/pans and the ones it did have seemed kind of grimy. It was cool they had a popcorn machine and keurig but the popcorn was stale and the k-cups were all really random gross sounding flavors.

Great place in downtown Sac

This place was perfect! Just as pictured online. Great modern decor throughout the whole place plenty of room in each bedroom for 2 adults. Really liked the kitchen and island to hang around all our food and drinks. Loved the fact that it was downstairs and had the cutest play area for kids in the back. Overall great experience with this stay and definitely will book again when in town!

100% satisfaction.

Book this place last minute to meet up with cousin & his fam from Seattle, we drove all the way from LA and my cousin and his fam got at the house first, and they were so happy that the ac is already turned on and the house feels nice and cool in this heat. The house is so lovely! Love the chic vibe and furniture. Love the white beddings in all the room its very relaxing. The aesthetic of this house is 💯! The only thing tho is the air vent above the stove wasnt very strong. So be careful when you’re cooking, it gets really smokey. Other than that i cant believe i booked this place last minute such a steal ! Thank you Sway! Definetly would come back again!
