Located in Saillans, in the heart of the Drôme, our charming gîte is newly built and features eco-friendly amenities for your comfort: timber construction, straw insulation, earth walls, double glazing, adjustable shutters, solar energy and water heater, and oak flooring. The 50 m² space accommodates up to 5 or 6 guests. There are 2 bedrooms: one with 2 bunk beds (90 cm each), the other with a king-size bed that can be split into two 90 cm beds on request. The living area offers a 160 cm sofa bed for 2 people, a large picture window, and a 20 m² terrace with exceptional views of the 3 Becs mountain.
You have a fully equipped bathroom and kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, underfloor heating, fan, washing machine, dishwasher, baby bed, and high chair.
Bed linens and towels are available on request for an extra fee. Cleaning service is available for an extra fee.
The gîte is on one level. A parking space and bicycle parking are provided. Public transport (train and buses) is a 20-minute walk away.
The lively, typical village of Saillans is a 15-minute walk, with grocery shops, bookstore, pharmacy, cafés, restaurants, newsstand, art boutique, and a bustling Sunday market in summer, plus a tourist office. Nearby activities include swimming in the Drôme, hiking or cycling, canoeing on the Drôme, and access to the Vercors massif park. Numerous festivals and markets enliven the region in summer.
