This location has been renovated since I visited several years ago and it is much nicer for it. I was in a conference room for two days for training and spent one night in a double queen room. It was a good experience overall.

Upgraded to a Harbour View room, which unfortunately looked out over the container port and where large cruise ships docked! The room was very cramped, did not have the advertised sofa, only 1 chair for sitting, and a round table that took over the remaining space. Service in the restaurant was poor, and staff did not understand what was on the menu. At both dinner and breakfast service stopped well before closing time with no coffee available after dinner and food cleared from the breakfast buffet well before time. To be fair, after I complained, the manager did reduce the room rate and cancelled the cost of dinner.

Its beautiful here I have harbor view from my room ice machine is on each floor so I don't have to hunt it down lots of power outlets like lots tv is huge bed is massive and sheets are so soft and bed is a pillow top amazing so happy withy stay

We were in the area very last minute and everything was booked / sold out. I got “lucky” or so I thought bc I found a room on Expedia for this hotel. We arrived at the front desk and were greeted by Ishan. Ishan informed us that Expedia had over booked them and they were completely sold out no rooms to be had. At this point I’m tired and stressed but I needn’t have worried because Ishan was on duty. I don’t know what or how he did it but he made a room miraculously appear out of thin air and got us situated in a room within 20 minutes. He was literally a magician! Once up in the room he called to check on us. But most hotel employees would have said we’re sold out to bad so sad good luck finding another place. But Ishan did some rearranging and fixed the situation and I will be forever grateful! The level of service he provided far exceeded most employees (at other brands hotels) that we encounter on our travels. Ishan Is destined for upper management and certainly deserves a pay increase the level of care and service he provided makes IHG stand out and I’ll be excited to book with your company again! Thank you IHG and thank you Ishan for not leaving us out in the cold and for taking great care of us. I’m in awe of your exceptional service!

Very good option while in St John. The sole hiccup was the nice man checking us in didn't mention the coupons tucked into the key holder for the free breakfast. We didn't see them, thus we went to Tim Hortons.
