The cottage is located in the countryside with a large private enclosed garden, just 15 minutes from Laval. History buffs will appreciate the Mayenne region, a region of the Chouanerie, and the Jean Chouan Museum is 1.5 km from the cottage.

Shops are located in the center of St Ouen des Toits, 2.5 km away (full grocery store, bakery, restaurants) or in Bourgneuf la Forêt (4 km).
