Had a great time here at the cabin. It is very simple and the perfect place for an in nature getaway. It is a small and home cabin with antique fixtures. The bed is not the most comfortable and the shower needs some care. The cabin also does not lock from the inside (only the outside) which is a little odd. But besides that I would come Back!
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The location was our favorite part it was off the main road and right by a river. We sat on the porch in the evening and listened to the water rush by and in the morning we sat on the wood chairs on the lawn by the bank.
We enjoyed our weekend at TATA Cabin (formerly Wagon Wheel Guest Ranch). The log cabin (circa 1950) was clean and is being updated by new owners. The property is quiet and lovely, set next to a trout stream, with hammocks and Adirondack chairs. Selida is about 10 minutes away. A quiet retreat.
Parking regulations need to be better addressed upfront. Not able to park your vehicle at the cabin overnight. It is to keep a peaceful environment and not wake ppl up early. I was not the only guest that was blindsided and unhappy about this. That policy needs to change in my opinion.
Beds are old and very uncomfortable. Showers had dim if any lighting. Had to use our flashlight. We left early and opted for a motel.
We took a last-minute trip just to get away, and these cabins were perfect. The grounds are excellently maintained, rooms are comfortable, and the manager is great. We will return, and are telling our friends about this place.
