Once I checked in in person room 412, the rep stated that Expedia did not charge an incidental fee and asked that I pay an incidental fee. I feel the clerk ask for the incidental fee due to the color of my skin, I felt stereotyped. The lobby and outside grounds area was ok. The continental breakfast was great, There were homeless or drug addicts or alcoholics at the gas station beside the hotel. I had to park my car on the other side of the hotel. Once I got in my in room, it had a stuffy smell, the sliding bathroom door came off the hinges, the carpet had old gum or some type of black sticky spot, the carpet was old, the couch bed had no sheets, the remote batteries were dead, no coffee cups for the coffee machine, shower curtains were old, the shower was dingy, I couldn’t tell if the deadbolt lock worked to the room door. The amount of money I paid was not worth it.
