What a nice place to stay. Itâs quiet, beautiful, just besides the Salisbury cathedral. The breakfast in the morning is very good. Just be careful as google map couldnât find the place for us, we had to find our way around. But once there, everything was easy.
The room is spacious and comfortable; the only bad thing about it is that you can hear the others opening and closing their door. It's clean and the breakfast is decent. The building is ideally located, in a quiet neighborhood, and just in front of the cathedral; parking available on site is really convenient.
One of the best things about this stay was the experience of being in the cathedral close. We loved the atmosphere, the history and being right in the centre of the city. That parking was included was a big factor in choosing this location.
The slight downside was that the rooms are very basic and functional. 'Drab' might have been another way to describe ours.
The staff were friendly, though, and the breakfast was varied and tasty.
We booked, at a high price, the best room in the hotel. We were given an attic space instead. We were told no other rooms were available. We are now trying to get a refund.
Interesting, inexpensive place to stay, within the walls of the Cathedral close. Staff friendly, breakfast solid, a stoneâs throw from the cathedal. Definitely highly recommend for the bargain-minded traveler!
