First off, the good things. The location was great, convenient to places to eat, coffee shops, sights and general downtown activities. If you want an urban stay experience, this definitely fits the bill.
The negatives. If you're sensitive to light, there are no curtains on the windows, and the sleeping area is in an open loft. It could be better appointed, the walls are mostly bare, and the whole unit and the building have an 1980's industrial, sort of run-down feel.
The property management did make a very small price concession on this next issue, which helped. When we went to run laundry, we found out there was no laundry soap. After contacting the property manager for the unit, we were told this was because the washer didn't actually work. Which would have been nice to have known prior to assuming we could do laundry there.
Overall a smooth stay, it's a little tricky getting in and out of the parking garage, but the directions were clear.
