The hotel is great. We stayed in a room facing outside. It was clean but needs to be updated. I think the rooms with indoor access to the pool may have been upgraded I don’t know. The atrium is very family friendly. We had a view of the Concho River right next to the parking lot. It was just too hot outside to sit and enjoy the view. A microwave would be nice.😃

While this didn’t describe us, what a PERFECT family with kids hotel. The place is old, but very well maintained and clean. Super friendly staff. The pool area and games and play areas inside looked fantastic (this 40 year old loved the pac-man/galaga machine!)

Everything was wonderful except for the door not closing properly without a tough shove and even then. A few baby flies in room that became annoying but beds were comfortable and room was clean.

If you have kids this place is great.

This is a great family friendly place to stay. If you’re traveling with kids they’ll enjoy this stay. The property is a little outdated, my bathtub wouldn’t hold water for a bath and the tub was damaged. However, this didn’t bother my grandson at all. The atmosphere in the courtyard was festive and fun, everyone seemed to be enjoying all the activities provided. Overall, if I had children with me I would definitely return here.

Definitely not what we expected. Very overpriced.

Not what we were expecting for the price we paid. Was charged 3 to 4 star pricing for probably what should be a 1 star. Very “motel” like. Hotel reeked of mildew and chlorine. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Do not disturb signs was an old tattered piece of paper with no way to hang or place it. A paper note said a plan for updating of rooms were on the way but the condition of the piece of paper looked as if it was years old. I guess the idea of an indoor pool and arcade games with a pool table is nice but it definitely underdelivered. We went to the restaurant around 6:30 and there was no one eating and no one to be found to help us. We paid pay too much to justify the condition of this “motel” hotel. Would not recommend at all.

Good and not so good

We were in San Angelo for a concert, so one night only. The staff was friendly, and the hotel room was clean. Everything worked great. We did not eat at the restaurant or breakfast. The parking was good; the parking lot was dark at night. It could feel a little unsecure, but no problems. The bed and pillows were hard. It took a while to get comfortable and fall asleep. There were other people who were loud outside our room past the quiet hours, but that is kind of expected at that type of hotel. It would be a great place to stay with kids. The things for them to do were inside in a secure location. There seemed to be a good selection for families. If we ever went to San Angelo with our grandkids, that is the place we ould stay.

Older hotel with nice amenities

It’s an older hotel and you can tell, but has a lot of really neat amenities! The staff were all super nice. The bed was very comfy, which my husband and I were both surprised about.
