Truly the filthiest hotel I've ever nearly stayed

The hotel was so filthy that I couldn't stay there. I went in, looked around and left within 10 minutes. I had to walk out and stay somewhere else. 1. The carpeting was so filthy that I couldn't imagine stepping on it with my bare feet. What kind of fungus and bacteria is living in that filth? For goodness sake, spend a few dollars and shampoo the carpet once a year. 2. There were blood stains on the sheets. BLOOD STAINS. They expect someone to sleep on blood stained sheets. How much does a set of cheap sheets cost. If they're bloody throw them out. Better yet...burn them. Don't let some poor homeless person pull them out of the dumpster and catch a disease. 3. The cockroaches... If they are in one room they are in every room. They are indicative of unsanitary conditions. Days Inn is usually a reliable national hotel. I have stayed at them several times. This place was a hazardous waste dump. The people at the corporate level should inspect that disgrace of a hotel and take their franchise away. If they have already, they should be ashamed for letting it carry their name. Hotels.com has it rated an 8.0, very good. I'm certain the vast majority of those reviews came from family members and friends who never stayed there. I plan to file a complaint to Wyndham and tell them that having their name associated with such an awful property lessens the good name and the high quality associated with the Wyndham. I also expect a refund.

The bathtub was very slippery, very dangerous, didn’t have a anti slip pad, The ironing board was very dirty. The worst thing was the absence of drinking water, not even on the vending machine, not available. When I asked the attendant he simply replied that there was drinking water available

The evening staff was very helpful and pleasant and to deal with. The gentleman that was on the dayshift during my two day stay however, was in my opinion, very rude, and quite coy. I have never experienced a hotel that advertises an included breakfast which ONLY includes coffee and a granola bar. When I approached the front desk to ask about the breakfast. The gentleman behind the counter must have have been approached with the same issue several times before, because he quickly responded with “ that is all that requires for breakfast, it is what it is man.” his demeanor and attitude was not that of what you would expect from someone who works directly in the hospitality industry. Upon the second night of my stay, I lost all power to my room, along with a few others on that end of the hall. The gentleman at the front desk that night was very helpful. He was quick to respond to all of our dilemma, and restored power in a very timely manner. If you plan on staying at this specific location, I would personally recommend checking in and out during the evening shift. The man working there is a lot easier and pleasurable to work with.

The night guy was nice and friendly. Can’t say the same for the morning guy. Plus I checked in for the complimentary breakfast but when I went down there was nothing. When I asked about it the guy said days inn only requires coffee and granola bars to be put out. My room had been broken into previously because you could see the big gap into between the door jam add the door
