Lightbooking in all honesty must be the worst agents VRBO have ever had. The whole process in dealing with them was quite pathetic. Finding the villa was quite easy but trying to get into the villa was bordering on the farce. Your agents kept telling us we were at the wrong house and to try other parts of the development. We must have spent about 2 hours driving around looking for another No. 30 until we eventually went back to the original house and got in. No apologies were forthcoming. Inside the house there was no details about anything e.g.where do you take the trash from the house etc. Worst of all there was no hot water in the kitchen or bathroom sinks and most of the lights bulbs were missing or broken. we complained daily and were promised that someone would come. Eventually a maintenance man call Hector came and did absolutely nothing at all and promised to come back the following day. He never appeared again and no action or communication was forthcoming from Lightbooking. The house was totally in need of refurbishment and did not merit the amount we paid for the rental. Lightbooking must improve their management and communication with clients. It is great to have a chatbox facility but if no one ever replies properly what is the point. The last joke was when they sent a text saying to remove all trash on departure. We had phoned several times during the so called holiday asking were to put the trash and never got a reply. VRBO should offer us some compensation.
