The place was in a great location with an spectacular view. However, it was very dirty upon arrival. We found food and plates under the couches in the living room, and the toilet was extremely dirty. It honestly didn’t look like the place had been cleaned before we checked in. The location and view were great, but the cleanliness definitely needs major improvement.

Old unit in dire need of professional upgrades and repairs including cabinets, furniture , bathrooms and flooring.Microwave , oven and the inside of all cabinets were smelly and dirty. TV in main bedroom not connected, no heating or air conditioning except for small electric heater for the whole unit. We were so cold. Unit located on top of a steep hill no suitable for seniors. We did not enjoy our stay

The location of the property cannot get any better especially for people who cannot drive like myself being 5 mins walk away from the beach and 10 mins walk away from the main shopping area. It’s a comfortable apartment with panoramic views. The check-in was super easy and the host Jerry was very friendly and responsive.

Top of the World

The balcony overlooking the town and the ocean was the star of our stay! Apartment was spacious and clean. We appreciated the fresh flowers! Great location. Easy to walk to the Pier and the beach. Would stay there again.

Beach house

Great View, Perfect Location

Amazing views overlooking the pier and beach. Easy access to beach, walking path, and shops. Jerry was very helpful throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome. The place had everything we needed. The balcony is spacious, lots of seating, two sliding doors to enjoy the perfect weather. The sunsets were great, and nights very calm and relaxing. In addition to the beach access, the location is great for running, walking, shopping, etc
 with many walkable activities within a half mile or so. The trolley picks up close by, so you can get just about anywhere in San Clemente without a car. We frequently took the trolley to Del Mar or El Camino Real for drinks/dinner and walked back. San Clemente has some incline on most streets to/from the beach, so plan ahead depending on physical limitations, strollers, etc
 we walked to the beach and pier in about 5 minutes. The incline is only to/from the beach, so walking around the neighborhood and town is relatively flat. We had an amazing time and definitely plan to stay here again!

Beautiful view and location but that's it

We planned this trip to treat our Parents expecting to have a great time near the beach. We were immediately disappointed when walking into the unit. The unit was quickly cleaned and definitely didn't feel like it was professionally done. There were crumbs all over the couch and carpet and leftover food in the fridge. As we checked out the rest of the place, we were disappointed to find the following: Wall length mirrors broken and duct taped together, as well as the picture frame over the bed, water damage on the floor and ceilings, flooring in the Master Bedroom is linoleum tiles that were curled up on the corners and felt spongy when walking on it, towels and bedsheets were mismatched, towels with bleach stains and sheets with stains on them, moldy utensils in the drawers and food splattered on the appliances, a loose razor blade lying in one drawer, the gas firepit on the balcony had no gas hookup and could not be lit, the TV would not work and would cut out every few minutes. We couldn't get a hotel room on short notice and slept in our clothes because we felt uncomfortable sleeping in the sheets. We left the next morning and did not return, foregoing our last 2 nights that we prepaid. While Jerry was a great host in terms of communication and felt accommodating, these things were all clearly left out of the listing and could not have been addressed to make us feel more comfortable.

Breathtaking View

The place is nice clean and spacious. You can’t beat the view. We walked down to the beach in minutes and they had amazing shops and eatery places. There is a train that goes by the beach here and there. Our kids loved it. Again, the view is unbeatable.

Amazing Location with Great View

The location of the property is in a great area. We easily walked to the beach and various restaurants. There is some uphill walks, but that is to be expected in the area. A car is not required, but we enjoyed having one to go to the grocery store and other places slightly farther away. It was great there was a parking space in the driveway as street parking is very difficult to find. The unit had a very comfortable bed, ample kitchen with full size coffee maker (big deal for us) and an amazing view of the ocean. It was so nice to drink coffee on the balcony and watch the sunset in the evening. Also, there are beach chairs, umbrella etc. all available for use. Next time we are in San Clemente, we will definitely stay here again.
