The experience with SurfStyle started off great as they were very responsive and clear on our itinerary but the service was like that of a slumlord. Moments before we arrived on Saturday, this company disconnected the fuse to the A/C because it was making a loud noise inside the condo and not cooling. They should have contacted me before I arrived because it was a hot weekend and they could have made other arrangements for us. Upon arrival, we unpacked and went out for the evening. When we arrived back, I noticed the TV wasn't working When I called and texted the SurfStyle phone number, they texted the phone number for Maintenance and directed me to contact a technician. When I texted Mtnc, he replied that the fuse to the A/C also controls the fridge and the TV and that they will have it fixed on Monday. He texted instructions how to turn the fuse back on so we had could use the fridge. We had to listen to the obnoxious sound from the broken A/C each night to keep the fridge working. The condo was hot from 10am-10pm. On Monday SurfStyle emailed that the A/C will be repaired on Tuesday, the day I checked out. This company knew about the broken A/C before we arrived. They didn't tell us ahead of time or make any other arrangements for us. No apology nor any empathy. They only communicated thru email and text. At the end of our stay they said they refunded 10% back to our card which is a joke, and they didn't even do that.
