Parking is great! This area doesn’t have enough parking, so to have a spot just for us was amazing! The place was very clean, no sand on the floor at all! The linens were clean with no stains. It was great having beach chairs and beach towels! A lot of places don’t provide these. We would highly recommend! Having a/c was a big plus, it got up to 90* while we were there!

Per posting I was aware small and no dresser but AC should read only in bedroom not entire house - no outlets to use in front room Only 1 in bedroom but useless because not to set a phone on. Couch is hard as a rock. Very disappointing- also called before stay and I was told 4 sets of towels for 2 guests for 4 days - actually was only 4 towels.

We were some what disappointed. The unit was very small, no dresser (s) in the bedroom, paint peeling off the walls and a very uncomfortable couch. I have rented several VRBO's in the past which usually have some basics (salt/pepper, cooking oil, some spices, and a few pods of coffee to get started )...there was nothing. The renters upstairs were very noise, heavy footed and very loud at night with their bedroom activities. On the plus side..great location steps from the beach, boardwalk, restaurant's, shopping and pubs. The Olive bakery is a must stop for a coffee and daily fresh baked goods. We will defiantly come back to this area just not rent this unit.

Small but a parking space

Very small on the inside. No place to put luggage except under the bed. There is a closet but it was crowded with mops, brooms, chairs. Great location; we were able to walk to several bars, restaurants stores. One very convenient parking spot. Small problem with ants, fortunately they do not swim very well.

Great spot

What a wonderful stay we had at this location. The beach being about 20ft away was exactly what we were looking for and for such a great price. Not to mention the fact it had a parking spot was a no brainer. It was also nearby plenty of spots to eat and shop. Would definitely recommend this stay to someone

Smaller than expected

Air conditioner was a bit on the noisy side. A fan to push the cool air through the living space would've been appreciated. It was definitely tight quarters, even for just 2 people. The fact that there wasn't even a table to set your phone or even a glass of water on in the bedroom was a bit inconveniant. We loved how close the beach was, which is the whole reason for our trip. The bucket to wash your feet was definitely a great touch along with the beach chairs.

Great place to stay

The location and condition of this property were great. The beach is so close I could throw a rock that far, and I can't throw very far. The kitchen and bathroom were both very clean and comfortable. My only suggestion is to have some spices available in the kitchen, there wasn't even salt and pepper for those of us who like to cook while on vacation. The reason I only gave 4 stars, the final day of our stay I was coming in from the beach and noticed a maintenance man next door. I went inside to clean up and take a shower and in the middle of it the water was shut off for about 30 minutes. The maintenance man could have let me know, we made eye contact outside as I was going inside the next door unit. I do highly recommend this property and surf style was great to work with. My wife and I often stay at Mission Beach and will search this property in the future

Mission Beach Stay - Just OK

Check-in process, location and communications/responsiveness with property management good. The not so good - Apt mostly remodeled. Although pictured in listing no end table for living area sofa (inconvenient). Granted bedroom is very small but no headboard, no shelving, and no small bench or seating. (No place to set phones, eyeglasses, luggage etc., very inconvenient). Baseboards were very dirty on top edge perhaps contributing to ant problem. No food was left open during our stay but significant small ant problem in the bathroom and some ants in the kitchen. Ants present even after spraying all baseboards 2nd day of our stay. Place is cute and could be cozy but at this point would not stay again or recommend.

Strandway #3

Our stay at Strandway was effortless and comfortable. We were steps away from the boardwalk and the location was perfect for a mission beach boardwalk stroll or go the opposite direction for a walk to pacific beach. Communication was fabulous with check-ins to be sure we were comfortable and our needs were met. I would highly recommend Strandway for a comfortable and convenient beach vacation stay.
