This was a great stay and an amazing view from the roof. It was comfortable and had plenty of space for my family. The best part was the property management. They were there for us when ever we needed. They also helped us with early and late check ins. I would recommend this place.

Filthy and disappointing.

This property is horrible. The whole place was filthy.The showers were moldy and disgusting. The counters and floors were dirty.The windows were filthy and many were broke.It had a order also.

Great Location, House Ok, Parking Awful

The area is great and the house is right by the beach. As others have noted the parking is annoying. You have to back into a narrow alley and can barely open the doors on one side to exit the vehicle. Forget parking two vehicles. There is a Prius that never leaves across the alley that makes it more difficult to navigate in. Can't blame them they probably live there. Street parking is hard to find and there are weird "street sweeper" hours every weekday where you can't street park. The house is passable. Hot tub was kind of dirty and sandy, the floors were dirty and turn your feet black, the couches are falling apart, etc. Overall, the location probably beats out the downsides, but for the money we were expecting a bit more upscale and a bit less surfer beach shack. Probably would not stay again, but it worked out fine. Management was nice, helpful and responsive.

We had a great time. Location was great. Beds were comfortable. The Viking stove was nice! Plenty of room for the 6 of us. The condo needs a little TLC though - it’s definitely had a lot of use.

Very disappointed

This wasn't exactly a 5 star experience. The hot tub was cloudy and a foot low in water, the house was dirty and the furniture was broken, stained and torn up. There were sewer flies (which I had to pay to get rid of) and the walls and furniture were filthy. I took a rag and bleach and wiped down the banisters and walls and the rag was black. I sent pictures and a video to management. They sent a cleaning service to clean the living area and she was lovely and did clean a little bit and helped me put sheets on the gross couches so we can at least sit on them. There needs to be more attention to the cleaning and the care of the furniture and home overall. I get that this is a rental and it isn't going to be perfect, but your guests shouldn't have to stay in filth after paying thousands of dollars to stay in one of your rentals. The neighbor behind the house also blocked the driveway parking illegally right on the red line, so we couldn't even park inside the gate. They serviced the hot tub and after 5 hours we tried to get in and it was still cloudy and our bathing suits were bleached out. I asked for a night of rent returned since I was dealing with these issues for hours and spent my own money to get rid of the sewer flies. They only offered to reimburse the cleaning fee and informed me that the couch cover has been replaced and the broken furniture repaired. There were literally wide open rips in the stools and gross stains on couch. So upset.

Great place in a fun location

We wanted an entire home without having to share walls or have someone above or below us and this house worked out great. Fantastic location with the beach steps away and tons of bars and restaurants a quick walk or bike ride away.

Amazing rental!

Our stay was fantastic in this rental. Location alone was spectacular. House layout, roof top patio and hot tub were all a hit with our group of 9. Loved having beach to go cups, extra towela and that some items were "left" like olive oil & spices. Always helpful and nice to also be able to leave extra items inatead od throwing them away.

Great spot for a family vacation!

This is a wonderful property in an excellent location! Our family loves to hang out at the beach and go back to the house for meals and naps for the kids, and this was easily close enough to allow that. Clean and well kept with plenty of beach toys and boogie boards. There was an issue with the thermostat during our stay, but Surf Style was very responsive and fixed the problem quickly. Parking is tricky, but two small cars fit, and we parked our Suburban either on the street, or a 3 minute walk away on the bay, which was no problem at all. Thanks for a great week!

We have family in San Diego and are retired so we stay in Mission Beach several times a year. Once a year we bring the immediate family but this year we were late reserving a place. Obviously the creams of the crop were all taken which left us with only a few houses that would accommodate several people. There’s so many other amazing places in Mission Beach to stay for the money if you book early enough. Kudos to the photographer who took the photos of this property. They made this place look decent, it needs a lot of TLC!!! I gave it a decent rating strictly on location being close to the beach. It’s on the main boulevard so it’s loud. The place was dirty, our feet were black before I bought cleaning supplies to clean the place. Walls were filthy which I though people would have still been cleaning like it was COVID still (yes, we still came and stayed in MB during COVID). Dingy linens, no extra linens for pillows or sofa bed which is filled with stains and terribly uncomfortable. After reading so many reviews I would have thought they’d would have done something with the stains already. You have to set up the rooftop seating area and after looking around at how nice others rooftops were near us, we didn’t bother with it. Wish I could have said this place was amazing as the ones we stayed at before but we were honestly super disappointed.

Great for family

For a multi-generational getaway every age group really enjoyed our stay. Parents love being able to walk a short distance on pedestrian path to the beach with little ones. Grandma could see them on the beach from the top deck. The kids loved snuggling and reading books on the giant couch. The windows let in a lovely ocean breeze. We ended up spending more time on the first floor patio, where the hot tub is. Very private and the kids could play. It was a bit too windy during our stay to use the top level patio as the umbrella could not be used although we did use the grill a lot. You do spend a fair bit of time going up and down stairs. Hot tub was clean, general condition was very good although the floors need a good mopping based on how dirty the bottom of our feet got on the main floor. Asking for an earlier check-in was quickly responded to and accommodated. Would stay there again, for sure!

Great location but would not stay again

Great location and large rooftop deck but very noisy traffic-wise with windows open. House was cleaned, but was not very clean. Kitchen counters felt gritty, some hair in tubs, etc. Tough parking but we expected that and made it work. The only parking issue we had (but that continued) was that the neighbor across the street kept parking in the red zone that is marked off because when someone parks there, it's impossible to get in or out regardless of car size. House was spacious enough for our family (lots of stairs). Although the couches folded out and were comfortable, they had stains all over them. The home's upkeep and maintenance has clearly been neglected for a long, long time. For the price and location, we will stay somewhere else next time with unstained bathmats. I hate leaving a bad review, but regardless of the nice location, we would not stay here again. Sorry!

You can watch the sunrise over the bay and sunset over the beach from this house. Great roof deck. Good location for getting around. Layout is odd. You walk into stairs that go up to the 3rd floor. The first floor has two bedrooms, the main suite is off the stairs at the second floor and the kitchen and family room are on the 3rd floor at the top of those stairs. Worked for us as we were traveling with adult children and no seniors. Overall it’s surface clean. Could use a deep clean and some touch up. Hot tub is fun and the outdoor space on the first floor is nice. Had some beach gear that was ok. Lots of towels provided, soaps, paper products. Would stay here again.

Perfect location

Our stay was very pleasant, no complaints, parking was a little tricky but very doable (we fit our Ram truck and my father in laws SUV fine), just make sure someone is helping you back up. Location was perfect, steps away from the beach. House was clean, washer/dryer on site was super awesome since we had little ones with us. Definitely would stay again!! *people with little kids we careful with all the stairs, maybe bring a baby gate, they are very step.

Family trip to the beach

The location was amazing, the view was also amazing it was clean and great communication with the property management team. It was my daughter's, my sister's and my nephew's birthday and my nephew's first time to a beach.

Wonderful Property

We stayed for a week! The kitchen was well stocked in terms of dishes, pans, cups, silverware! There were spices but not things that I use very much. There is a Brita water filter system in refrigerator. Some reviews said no AC but it has wonderful central AC with ceiling fans in every room. We used the fireplaces on the roof and on the patio and there was extra propane. We used the gas grill as well which had direct gas. Hot tub wonderful and changing colored lights in it! Beds and pillow clean and comfortable. Beach umbrella and beach chairs and toys available in the patio area. There are two parking spots which we didn’t use because we didn’t have a car. TVs every room and Alexa throughout the house including rooftop! Great location! The beach right ther is very nice and it is far away from Belmont that don’t get the noise and crowds but an easy walk. We ordered groceries from Ralph’s and they delivered first day. I would definitely stay here again. There are lots of stairs so could be difficult for some people.
