We visited with four adults and one toddler and we stayed a full week. Overall I was happy with our choice to stay at the Bahia! The grounds were nice, the pool was awesome and the private beach was great for little ones since the water was so calm. The two restaurants on site were tasty (although a little expensive but that’s not surprising for a resort).
PROS: good location, quiet during the weekday, friendly staff, great pool, comfortable spacious room, easy parking
CONS: very LOUD on Friday and Saturday due to weddings. We specifically called and asked for a quiet room and which one we should book- they told us the garden rooms would be quietest. Well… those overlook the wedding reception area, aka extremely loud music til 10pm.
Rooms are a bit outdated. The AC kicks on and off which is annoying at night. The suites do not include any silverware, dishes, or anything that you would want in a kitchenette.
I would consider staying again, but not on a Friday or Saturday night. Lots of parties in the rooms, wedding vibes, not the quiet family friendly vibe.
