Wonderful Christmas Stay

Property was perfect for our family of 3 adults and 1 15 month old. Location in quiet, friendly neighborhood & close to all attractions. Beautiful view of the harbor every morning & Sea World across the bay. Parking right next to property. I would recommend this property to any family or friends visiting San Diego.

Beautiful beachfront condo

We stayed here for Thanksgiving (family of 4 adults). It’s steps from the beach with beautiful Mission Bay views. We played football on the beach and walked along the beach path every morning. Parking was easy, directly in front of the condo. There were plenty of beach chairs/beach towels provided. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a Thanksgiving feast. All we had to do was buy the ingredients. Be aware commercial airplanes fly directly over from 630 am to 11 pm, if you require more than 7 hours of sleep, this isn’t the place for you, otherwise it’s perfect!

Bay front condo

It's all about location for this home. Right on the bay, perfect for our 7 and 4 year old kids. Walkable to the beach as well. Clean, well maintained, well stocked for beach and cooking, and comfortable. The air con wasn't working and our communication with management was instant. Finally resolved. Only one small issue. Definitely under a flight path. Planes landing until around 11:30pm and starting up again at 6:30am didn't allow for us to keep windows open, which would have been nice for the beach air! Otherwise, would definitely stay here again.

Best VRBO on Mission Bay!

This place was amazing! From the beautiful sunrises from the balcony, to the comfortable beds, to all of the amenities you could want, to the easy walking distance to the beach side and Mission Bay right outside the door, this place was perfect! We were in town for a conference, but wanted to enjoy San Diego as well. This condo was far better than any hotel they could ever have been. All the comforts of Home with lots of extras. Super super clean and updated, comfortable beds and couches, beach equipment to borrow, and very quick responses to questions. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing Location & Home

Very nice location and accommodations, the place was perfect clean and had everything we needed. Drift was extremely easy to communicate with the entire time and provided good service on things we asked for. It was a 10/10 experience and we will definitely be back or look to stay with Drift at other properties.

Beautiful property in a great location

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Everything was as described. Gorgeous view of Mission Bay via huge windows. Lots of amenities for the beach (boogie boards, chairs, sand toys, etc) and for our 8 year old (toys, books, games). The kitchen/living room area was updated, spacious and bright. The beds were very comfortable. We’d definitely stay here again.

Peaceful location

There were 6 of us spanning 3 generations staying at this location. It was a perfect fit for all! When a few had had enough of the beach, they went up to our room and sat on the balcony where they still felt like they were with us. We rented paddle boards for the week from Ray's Rentals (the only place that would rent by the week) and the bay was perfect water for that. The unit had everything we needed to prepare meals. The beds were comfy and the couch was too. The bathrooms were spacious enough and clean. There were boogie boards, 6 beach chairs with hooks for them outside the door, and beach towels by the door ready to go. There was parking for two vehicles. We were in a big Suburban and it fit! Beautiful area that is quiet on the bay side, but you can quickly get to the Pacific side for the sunset and more action. The 20 somethings in our group enjoyed the shopping at Belmont Park. We watched the fireworks at Seaward across the bay every night. We would definitely stay here again!

San Diego Baby

San Diego Baby!!! Months ago the battle cry went out as six friends finally decided on the location of our summer vacation. The search for the best accommodations seemed to take as long as making the decision. Finally, after our list of wants and needs was compiled we all agreed on 2668 Bayside Walk on Mission Bay. Upon arrival we knew we made the right decision and our expectations would be exceeded. The bedrooms were adequate sized with comfortable beds for our oversized aging bodies. The common areas have plenty of seating at the kitchen island, the dining table, the couches for TV or out on the patio with a serene view of the sailboats. We have been further treated to a fireworks show every evening courtesy of Sea World which is across the bay. A few steps downstairs lead to possibly the toughest decision we faced all week. Should we go to the beach on the bay just outside the huge picture windows or take a few more steps and enjoy the beach and waves of the Pacific. A couple in our group love to cook and the kitchen had everything they needed from spices to utensils with a new gas grill on the patio for backup. Just so I don’t keep writing all night, the honorable mentions of this home are huge TV’s, Cold A/C, Top of the line appliances, Folding glass patio doors, beautiful bathrooms. If you hesitate on renting this home, you will regret it.

Loved this rental!

I’d stay here every time I found myself in San Diego. Being able to just walk down to the bay whenever we felt like it was a game changer! I also appreciated how every detail was thought of from beach toys and chairs, fans for every room, etc etc. It was clean, quiet, and ultra convenient.

Perfect Beach Getaway

We were in for our sons graduation with both grandmothers and the property was just perfect. Perfect location on the bay, beautifully furnished, kitchen fully equipped. Would stay again!

Beautiful house & stay, beware of noise

This house was beautiful and exactly as pictured. It was very clean and everything seemed almost brand new. The location is wonderful for the beach and calm waters and many restaurants a short drive away. And the sea side beach is a medium walk (very short drive) to the other side of the peninsula. The downstairs tenants (I believe the owners) are so quiet you don't know they are there. Everything about the house is wonderful. We weren't able to check-in until 4:30 (we were told 4pm or earlier) and checkout was 10am. Wasn't a big deal but feels like checkout should be 11am like most hotels and check-in delay hurt more because we got bumped to a super early flight (due to a storm). The biggest downside was the noise in the morning. The house is relatively close to the airport and is occasionally in the flight path of planes taking off. It's not earth shaking, but when the plane is in your path you hear it. If you're a deep sleeper no problem. But for us around 6:30am we're in a lighter phase of sleep and it wakes you. Feels like the flights stop at 11pm and start at 6:30am. Additionally garbage pickup is on Tuesday at 6:30am and it's LOUD and lasts a long time as they pick up various sides of the street and adjacent streets. If you're up by 6:30am there is no problem, which is what we attempted to do once we learned. Other than that the house is amazing.

Bay View

Great stay in this Mission Bay condo. Unfortunately we had rain and cold weather. But if you must stay inside this was the place to be. Right on the walk and sand. Bay water was calm. Excellent location for young children. Beautiful bay view. Fireworks every night across the bay at Seaworld Condo was completely updated and extra clean. Location was great. Easy to navigate around San Diego. If you don’t want to drive much lots of restaurants near by. Beds were very comfortable. Nice place. Would return.
