We unfortunately did not have a good experience with this property and ended up leaving immediately and absorbing the cost to move to a hotel as well as the cost we were out on the VRBO.The biggest issue was that the home was significantly smaller and far more dated than the listing photos suggest, which felt very misleading. The location was also not ideal — the home backs to an alley with constant traffic noise, and it was not as close to other amenities as we expected.Inside, there were several comfort and maintenance concerns:The shower was extremely small (camper-sized) and visibly rustedThe sofa had noticeable stainsThe air conditioning did not cool properly despite being set to 72The bedroom ceiling fan was difficult to operateThe outdoor area and hot tub felt very aged and poor qualityThat said, I do want to acknowledge that the owners were kind, responsive, and pleasant to communicate with, which made this situation disappointing and very costly, rather than more contentious than it could have been. Ultimately, however, the condition, location, and overall feel of the home were very far off from how it was represented, and this resulted in a stressful and costly change to our plans.I hope this feedback helps future guests make an informed decision and helps the owners consider updating the listing to better match the reality of the property.
