proximity to downtown, little italy, coronado and balboa park are great. however, the urine smell and homeless sleeping on the sidewalk out front arenât great. once inside, the unit is super cute, very clean and well maintained for a victorian of that age. unfortunately, it seems that the furniture, appliances and kitchen utensils were all purchased at the local thrift store. there is no place for a family of four to sit and eat. the futon sofa is literally so uncomfortable you canât sit on it. same for the queen sized bed. my kids (8 & 10) refused to sleep on the mattress because the springs were poking them. not a comfortable stay at all.
