We absolutely LOVED our stay at La Pensione. The farmers market on the weekends was a fun time very walkable place, right in front of the hotel. The hotel does not have a communal washer and dryer to use So plan on taking your dirty laundry back home with you. The staff was super nice and friendly, very easy to talk to. Loved all the restaurants nearby, and the little Italian markets were to die for. Easy commute to the trolley station. A very cute hotel.

Wish better details on parking. Said on their website no parking after Feb 2025 but turned out they do. $35 a night which would have been less than what we paid. Rooms super small, even compared to NYC room. Our AC worked great but was noisy. Walls very thin and bed a little too firm but overall we needed something close to park for festival. Great option!! Would we return, due to convenience of location if reasonable rate yes we would.

The room we had booked (two queens) was not available. We were called the morning of to tell us they did not have a room and put us in two separate single bedrooms. The person checking us in was very apologetic but the person checking us out was very rude. When asked if we could get a discount on our stay because of the mishap, the women stated “well we gave you an extra room for free so that should be enough”, even though we had paid for the room with two beds that was not available.

Great location and very walkable to a lot of food options and the train. Room seemed fairly clean but very small and a little stuffy. But overall a decent place to stay for a couple nights.

Fitness center was inaccessible with the hotel key card, room was fairly clean, but ice bucket was still full of water from a previous guest. Main complaint would be that housekeeping was vacuuming the hallways and opened our door to clean the door area while we were still occupying the room and it started us a bit. Great location though and fair prices

This has been our go-to hotel ever since discovering Little Italy 5 years ago. It's close. It's convenient everything within the area, but the noise over the last two stays has become unbearable. They're saying they need renovation because of the pipe situation. We've tried to work with the hotel about compensating us and they're unwilling to do that. They're saying they're going to talk to the manager. Unfortunately this little home away from home will no longer be where we stay. It's just too noisy.
